The worthless little loser was summoned to DC, took his spanking on live TV, and came running back home to drop his counter-tariffs like a good little boy. 

He dropped those tariffs before the election. Didn't tell anyone.

So now it's official, Carney lied about everything that he talked about. 

This decision was made on April 16th, before even the French-language debate. 

He already knew that he had abandoned "elbows up" before both of the debates.

Which begs the question: "Did Trump know that the counter-tariffs were being dropped, but just kept his Carney's secret to help him get elected?" (of course Trump knew, he's the one who gave Carney the order to remove the tariffs)

Carney technically did not lie regarding his stance on retaliatory tariffs - he said back in April 2025 that he was mostly opposed to them. 

With that said, he did mislead the public in terms of his supposed willingness to stand up to Trump, given he was far more conciliatory in his phone call & recent meeting with Trump than he suggested he would be on the campaign trail.

And interestingly it wasn't the CBC who leaked it and broke the story, it was Radio Canada and the CBC ran with it because they realized once that information was out it was out and they would look terrible if they didn't speak on it
