individual freedom and less government control

You don’t believe in less government and individual freedom.  You believe in government control of our speech if it hurts religious feelings.

Since you don't believe in conservative beliefs, you must believe in some form of Socialism or Marxism.

Jesus was a progressive, but of course he was a humanist so go figure.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

I believe that a degree of respect for other people's rights should be normal.  That is the nature of a civilized society.  One shouldn't be able to go around and insult and disparage other people.  Freedom carries with it a responsibility to be respectful of other people.

Remember where your freedom came from.  A civilized society didn't just happen by accident.  It took a lot of people to struggle for it and many sacrificed their lives as martyrs for the cause.

The Reformation which took place four to five hundred years ago in Europe led to the breakup of the Holy Roman Empire run by Rome in a number of countries of Europe.  In some countries, after a long struggle, freedom from the total control by Rome was finally achieved and individual freedom was gradually born.

No, Jesus was not a progressive if you mean teaching kids LGBTQ lifestyles or agreeing with same-sex marriage.  Jesus was not advocating any kind of political ideology or Socialist government.  If anything he would likely support capitalism because he was God and God ordained the right to private property.

Civilized society does not control speech that hurts religious peoples feelings.

So you believe insulting gay people (calling them abominations) should be illegal then?

I do.  People like you are trying to take it away.

Of course.  I never advocated anyone go around insulting anybody.  It may already be illegal under human rights laws.

Nonsense.  You are lying again.  You don't lose freedom by being respectful of other people.  No need to be profane and blasphemous.

I have a Gods given right to free expression and you want to take it away.  Get your BIG government overreach out of here.

God was cranky old mean spirited arshole compared to Jesus. I bet Jesus even wore bell bottom pants.

I would suggest you seek counseling from a Christian counsellor if there is such a thing these days.

Hah, he'd probably chase me out of his office and tell me to never come back.

He'd need the counselling.

Yes, maybe you're right.

God wishes that all would be saved,  that is, believe and be born again.  But I think you indicated you were not interested.  I respect everyone's choice.

Ultimately, salvation depends on the divine grace of God and His divine purpose.  I like to study the Bible on different subjects.  God's divine purposes is a mind-boggling subject.

What I find funniest is that Trump called PP stupid, didn't even know his name, and the clownservative supporters are taking that as a "win"....

Of course he'd prefers Liberal, he intends to f*ck us over and that would give him more "joy". F*cking over a fellow so-called conservative wouldn't win him any brownie points.

'Advice on how to deal with Trump from his former National Security Advisor.'

Podcast available from the March 20th  'Conversations with Ben O'Hara-Byrne' show.

Well worth a listen as former 'US Ambassador to the United Nations' and  'National Security Avdisor' to President Trump, John Bolton gives some much needed insight into the unexplainable actions and mind of his former boss, Donald Trump. This interview is 21 minutes long.

If anyone could provide the link to this show, it would be much appreciated.

For once i agree with Treebeard, freedom of speech is just that...you should be able to say what ever you want...but in doing so there is going to be consequences... for instance if i walked up to your wife and said nice tits...i would most likely get a slapped in the face or much worse...consequence's...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.
