Maybe... you guys should be more concerned with your own authoritarianism and attacks on speech than your perceived outrage over anything Trump is doing.

B.C. nurse committed professional misconduct with transgender commentary, hearing rules

https://vancouversun.com/news/bc-nurse-misconduct-transgender-commentary-hearing-rules

"In 2020, Hamm commissioned an “I (heart) J.K.Rowling” billboard in Vancouver that drew instant rebuke. It was removed shortly after. The sign was similar to one in Scotland in support of Rowling, at a time when the U.K. author was embroiled in controversy over her views against allowing people to self-identify their gender, and her conviction that it posed a threat to non-transgender women and children."

...

"“Although the statements did not directly concern health or nursing services, the respondent identified herself as a nurse or nurse educator in making them,” said the college."

Another government empowered 'regulator' that doesn't have to abide by our Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Civil rights groups in Canada have found rulings like this to be 'troubling'.

Canadians are for the most part knee jerk authoritarians,

it originates in Canada's 19th century Victorian society,

but then in the 1960's,  Anglo Canada lost its British identity,

replacing it with American Academic Woke Progressivism as Canada's new identity,

One would think the government could make a decision based on common sense , rather than public opinion based on fantasy....like this Chick form the US...and i'm sure we could find millions of examples here in Canada....it is at the point now where the insane run the asylum....normally these people would be easy to ignore, but she is on an advisory panel that most likely require you to use these ridiculous pronouns...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

And another whiner claiming govt has anything to do with it.

Oh but they "let" Professional Associations exist....

The government controls these regulated professions, so yeah, the government has everything to do with it.

Woke Progressive Canada elevating minority groups into Sacred Cows whom cannot be criticized in any way,

is in essence the Canadian state religion now, superseding even the constitution itself

the mechanism being employed here is actually the British Crown,

constitutionally, Canada is a British Monarchy,

so your free speech in Canada can be overridden by what is called the "King's Peace" therein,

in essence, if the majority is going to get up in arms about something, someone has offended the state religion,

the minority can be silenced under the auspices of "keeping the peace",

anybody deemed to be a troublemaker can at any time be charged with a "breach of the peace",

literally this is what the Founding Fathers revolted against first and foremost,

No it doesn't, it just set the papers to file to set them up like it does for societies and charities. You really, really believe govt does 'control' everything. See a doctor.

And you get your panties in a bunch over what some organization does at the exact time the US govt has a BC woman locked up in chains for weeks because some border guard with a PIG attitude 'doesn't recognize her papers' and CAN do that - no oher reason. Could've simply refused her entry and sent her back, but OH NO gotta OINK OINK out arsehole the President's wishes let all your piggy friends threaten, chain and jail, waste taxpayer time and money and make a scene.

Yes, it does. To become a Nurse or anyone in any of the regulated professions like these, you have to meet requirements and get licensed/certified. These professional boards control that power over those who hold them... its the entire reason why she has to be submitted to this board for a review of professional misconduct.

What doctor should I see... you mean the ones that are subject to this same regulatory scheme?

The ones that use electric paddles to rid people of their conspiracy theories and delusions that someone else is 'controlling' them.

You just stated yourself people must meet professional requirements = govt making those requirements.

Just the deluded Covid1ots still think today that Trudeau made up the policies...

bingo.

the leftists would of course be outraged if the power of the Crown was employed against them in this fashion,

but they are perfectly happy to employ any means available to them to silence their critics,

this is what happens if you don't have a First Amendment to the threshold of Brandenburg v. Ohio

That is not what I said...

Here, one more time since you didn't read it the first time:
