gatomontes99 Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 (edited) Quote The Supreme Court on Wednesday denied the Trump administration's request to block a lower court's order for the administration to pay nearly $2 billion in foreign aid money, delivering a near-term reprieve to international aid groups and contractors seeking payment for previously completed projects. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/scotus-rules-nearly-2-billion-frozen-usaid-payments I'm going to shock the world. I agree with this ruling. At the heart of the ruling was contract law. We (the US government) signed a contract for work and that work was completed. We have to pay. I haven't seen the whole ruling, but I suspect it only pertains to contracts that are signed, active and not delinquent. If it goes beyond that, that would be a travesty. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition. If they are wrong, blame the opponent. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa. If all else fails, just be angry.
