Generaly speaking, we have females in these leadership positions across America. Maybe... we just didn't like Harris. Tell us, when was the last time you Canadians elected a female as PM? herbie Posted February 23 Report Posted February 23 (edited) Yeah it's totally insane to expect people with $400 billion to pay taxes when you can hose the kid at Wendys instead. And offering to help you start a business when you should claw yourself up the rocks if Daddy didn't hand it to you is completely unAmerican. Almost as bad as electing someone stupid enough to believe the govt=business mantra of 50 years ago be trusted with fixing the economy that wasn't broken. Edited February 23 by herbie Quote

The kids working at Wendy's pay a higher tax rate and a far bigger share of their income than Wendy's owners. Like Warren Buffett and his secretary. This is just ignorance of Warren Buffet vs the vast majority of other people. They are comparing apples to oranges as his secretary pays more because she is paying payroll taxes for Social Security, Medicaid on top of federal income tax, but even then, Buffet is not earning an income, he is making profit off of his investments. His secretary is also in the top income tax bracket because Buffet was paying her somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 a million dollars a year. Quote

Most people do not derive all of their income from investments and pay a secretary almost half a million dollars a year. You are comparing two absurd extremes to one another, when this started out talking about someone at Wendys. Warrent Buffet was not paying his secretary the same amount someone was making at Wendy's flipping burgers. Quote

I didn't quite get that, comrade: Why, exactly, is Trump playing Jenga with the federal government? Also, how, exactly, are we going to suffer? I mean, the government has gotten so f*cking big, that there's been hardly any room to breathe. So explain how we citizens are going to suffer by getting more room to breathe. Quote

Well it can work in some specific examples I don't find employee motivations for fear to be successful in the long run. Very quickly it turns to creating the illusion of work and making busy rather than actual productivity games. It also tends to promote support for unions and more aggressive Union Behavior.
