It seems like these mass-slaughters of diseased chickens are a regular occurrence now. 

Makes me wonder if some group of well-connected farmers gets rich selling chicks or unfertilized eggs after these crises.

 

Unrelated chicken trivia:

Here in BC, all free-range eggs are brown, and all the non-free-range eggs are white. It's at the point where even some adults think that chickens that get to run around outside lay brown eggs.

Do you know I remember in the late seventies I believe it was when they made producers take the red food dye out of rat poison products because it was found to cause cancer in rats

Some days the government doesn't exactly help its case against being trimmed

What is your point? People don't smuggle things that are legal.
