Pansies? Haven't heard anyone use that since grade 6.

You are welcome.

The pansies hiding under their beds from rampant criminals, hordes of foreigners gibbering like hyenas outside their bedroom window at night and stealing their minimum wage jobs by day, govt employees forcing them to take fentanyl and the legions of Russians coming over the ice on snowmobiles while their Chinese allies dog paddle across the Pacific?

Those pansies?

I'm talking about the orange blob.  He is waiting to see where the chips fall before deciding how to approach him.  He doesn't have to commit to being a Trump hawk or to fall in line with him at the moment, because he can rest assured that Trudeau will make a mess of it either way.

Well he has a dress that. As I mentioned even though I'm not video specifically he has made some pretty strong statements. His approach apparently is diplomacy but no compromise on Canada. He prefers to see negotiation but absolutely believes in retaliation if trump wants to start that kind of war. That's probably the correct answer, there's no point in antagonizing trump needlessly as Carney is doing but trump has to know but if he starts to fight we'll finish it and whatever it takes is whatever it takes.

Honestly I don't know that there's much more anybody can say until trump starts putting something on the table. Right now he's got us negotiating with ourselves, trying to make offerings and see if it appeases him. I think that's got to stop, I think we basically have to say either you tell us what you want or you go ahead with the tariffs and we will look at every way we can hurt you back

That's kind of my point.  Nobody knows what Trump is going to do, so I don't think anyone has a concrete plan and therefore doesn't need to/shouldn't provide one.  I suspect that Poilievre will probably take a more hawkish tone against Trump the closer to an election we get, but right now he can afford to wait and watch.  I can't stand the guy, as you know, but my sincerest hope is that when he does become PM, he's a pragmatist like Harper turned out to be.

Fair enough.

Poilievre is "selling" common sense to Canadians but...

he's only selling it to those who haven't any.

You believe without question any shit spewed from anyone claiming to be conservative.

No PP will bring a heavily distilled version which will be poison to limp wristed pansies.

PP has been consistent on what he is going to do. And he is a proud Canadian, unlike Carney the European.

This is the thing. After the trump Trade war started to happen justin Trudeau radically changed his tune. His priorities changed everything changed suddenly he loves Canada.

Poilievre delivers his speech and it's exactly the same as the last 100 speeches he's given. Slight emphasis on patriotism but almost indistinguishable from what he has been saying all along.

At least Trudeau was able to keep his story straight from one crisis to the next where it would change again, Carney can't even keep his story straight from one interview to the next.

The liberals are nothing but opportunists. They have no interest in Canada they only have interest in power and lining their pockets.

You may read in the news that there was a 5.1 earthquake in the lower mainland today.

However after scientists reviewed the data they realized it was just Herbie grinding his teeth reading your comments :P

You have to stop bugging him like that, it's seismically irresponsible.
