Tldr: Whoopi had an assistant call to get her some birthday treat for her birthday. The bakery said they couldn't. Whoopi had another assistant try again. This assistant didn't use Whoopi's name and this time they could help.

Turns out a boiler was out and they didnt want to take orders until they knew they could fill them.

Whoopi goes on TV and claims the bakery (without naming them but it was easy to figure out whonit was) discriminated against her. She even doubled down after the explanation came out.

How messed up do you have to be told think a bakery wouldn't take your money because of your politics?

Dude...lots of places would refuse to do business with me because of my politics. Lots of people in my milieu are banned from Uber, airbnb, have bank accounts frozen, payment processers removed, etc.

Even in Canada there have been restaurants and such that have tried to refuse service to people wearing Maga hats

Perhaps not surprisingly I haven't heard anyone who is a republican refused service to a democrat even if they are wearing harris paraphernalia based on their politics

The left has just gone into evil mode in the last few years
