CouchPotato Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 (edited) To be exact, he was losing the debate at every moment, but this particular moment really stands out. Tim Walz: I've become friends with school shooters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJKm2lu8kAM Edited October 2, 2024 by CouchPotato Quote
gatomontes99 Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 I think he lost it with the lie that he was in Tiananmen Square Of course, in this lie about his lie he lied about Trump praising China on COVID. It was a complete meltdown and probably the worst moment in a VP debate since 92. Quote The Rules for Liberal tactics: If they can't refute the content, attack the source. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition. If they are wrong, blame the opponent. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa. If all else fails, just be angry.
CouchPotato Posted October 2, 2024 Author Report Posted October 2, 2024 I have to give Walz credit though. I think he was willing to debate without making his opponent out to be Hitler. Same goes for Vance. It seemed like they were both able to display some understanding for the other's viewpoints. I think Walz looked much weaker though. He seemed very nervous. Quote

I think Walz looked much weaker though. He seemed very nervous. This is a good point. Walz was pretty civil for the most part. The debate would've been a lot more fun if it were Vance and Harris. The mods would've been turning off Vance's mic and calling the police. lol Quote
Chrissy1979 Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 Vance clearly lost when he damningly wouldn't answer the question about whether he would uphold democracy and the constitution like Mike Pence did. But I guess he's scared Trump would try to have him hanged too. 2 Quote
NAME REMOVED Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 The debate was considered a draw, by the majority of the public. Nobody was a decisive winner. Quote

I Assume it's something like that, i'm quite prepared to believe he hasn't ACTUALLY been making friends with shooters but it's still just the wrong thing to say in a debate. It's the equivalent of when that fly landed on Pence's head and that's all anybody could talk about afterwards Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
August1991 Posted October 3, 2024 Report Posted October 3, 2024 As a Canadian, I largely disagree. Tim Walz would be a wonderful neighbour, decent guy. And that guy Vance - also good. Quote
August1991 Posted October 3, 2024 Report Posted October 3, 2024 Truman dropped two bombs on Japanese. It happens. Quote
