Plenty of residential school survivors are alive today and they'll never forget. Nor will their children who saw the effects. Your outright dismissal of their concern and refusal to acknowledge the need for reconciliation is shameful. 1 Quote

The native schools changed a great deal once the government got its head out of its tush and decided to take over the program again instead of leaving it to the religious organizations. Well I'm sure there are still abuses that went on just like there are at every school in Canada attendance wasn't mandatory and I assume that the problem isn't simply that they got an education. The first nations have been going to school and still are to this day so that they can learn same as all of us. These days the number one abusers of first nations are other first nations. If a first nations woman is raped or murdered chances are it was the first nations male that did it. Can't really blame the schools for that. Just out of curiosity in your mind how many decades have to pass before the schools are no longer an issue? 100 years? 500 years? Ever? Quote

Imprisoned slaves never forget. Yet none are demanding generational and lifetime su[port form anyone. They grow and move on and become real citizens. Real people move on and do what they can to better their lives. When they don't ,like the teat sucking indigenous, you are right I "outright dismissal of their concern". My comment o which you responded "The American "Indians" still have residential type schools. The American "Indians" have become American citizens...the Canadian Indigenous cannot seem to " is historically correct. As is the reposted article from a British newspaper. Your constant defence of historical teat sucking bums is remarkable. Cut them off completely and see what they can be or become.
