myata Posted August 9, 2024 Report Posted August 9, 2024 San Francisco's former mayor Willie Brown has dismissed as "fiction" Donald Trump's story that they once endured a scary helicopter trip together. Mr Brown, 90, told US media he had never shared a helicopter with Trump, adding: "I don't think I'd want to ride on the same helicopter with him". Trump, 78, appeared to be confusing Mr Brown with Jerry Brown, California's former governor, with whom he shared a helicopter ride in 2018 to visit the aftermath of the Paradise wildfires. Gavin Newsom, the current state governor, was also on the flight. Both men told US media there was no emergency landing or danger. "I call complete BS," Mr Newsom told The New York Times. Hodad Posted August 9, 2024 Report Posted August 9, 2024 Yes, it's a mental health issue that is a component of several diagnosable disorders. Most people lie occasionally, from white lies to whoppers, but the extreme volume and often lack of identifiable benefit and certainty of being caught make it a problem. Sort of like the difference between someone who has the occasional social drink and someone who goes on benders alone in their apartment. Lying Pathologically Some providers have suggested that pathological lying is different from other types of lying because it’s excessive (a person tells multiple lies a day) and has gone on for at least six months).910 Like other problematic lying, pathological lying can be unconscious and without any obvious gain. However, it can also be intended to manipulate others. For example, a person who lies pathologically may tell lies to establish status in their social groups instead of honestly and genuinely working on building up their reputation.11 Another example could be far more detailed and complex: a pathological liar may completely make up their “backstory” and lie about where they grew up, what their parents did for work, and where they went to school. They may even claim to be related to an important historical figure or celebrity.12 1 Quote

No. It's not normal. Pathological lying is nothing normal. Pathologically lying president would be hugely abnormal. To everybody else, it's quite clear. Too bad that you decided to turn off and hand over your brain but people did that and it's their choice. Happy sailing dead brain waves (easy and eventless isn't quite common in these cases). myata Posted August 9, 2024 Author Report Posted August 9, 2024 There are two witnesses to the story. Responsible independent media confirmed the facts. So here's what the cult is about: shut down all information that it cannot control. Abandon the justice system if it cannot be controlled. Let it run elections, find votes and declare winners. This much is clear. Does it remind you of something? Quote If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
CouchPotato Posted August 9, 2024 Report Posted August 9, 2024 (edited) Remember how Joe Biden told gold-star families his son Beau died in Iraq. Or when he said he drove an 18-wheeler. Or when his house burned down with his wife in it. Or about how he never discussed business dealings with his son. Or how a drunk driver killed his wife and daughter. herbie Posted August 10, 2024 Report Posted August 10, 2024 Better point is why can't any of these clowns argue to the point? Because they can't. Everyone knows DonOld is a lying P.O.S. so they have to deflect to whatabout someone else. Somebody else did something that has nothing to do with your point. They can't counter with DonOld in NOT a liar, because they too know that he is. herbie Posted August 10, 2024 Report Posted August 10, 2024 BTW kleptomania is compulsive thievery, You're referring to mythomania, compulsive lying. Mental illnesses that can cause symptoms of pathological lying can include: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Borderline personality disorder. Antisocial personality disorder. Narcissistic personality disorder. Bipolar disorder. 2 1 Quote

Records show that the other passengers were Governor Jerry Brown and AG Gavin Newsom. So maybe he had Jerry Brown and Willie Brown mixed up in his head. Is that such a stretch? Jerry Brown, Willie Brown... It's obvious enough for people who live in California or who know one of those guys personally, but for a guy who was living in NYC and not a politician when all that went down, he never even would have heard of it until decades later. Were you aware of the exact moment that Willie Brown came in Kamala's mouth, and then he gave her two lucrative political appointments? I didn't know about it until at least the 2020's. That happened 30 years earlier. Maybe Kamala had sex with both of them. You don't know. And TBH, it makes more sense if it was a 60-yr-old governor that she was having sex with, because I don't even understand how the mayor of San Fran gave her those political appointments (but it's a fact that he did). It sounds more like something that a governor could/would do. As for the 'copter ride, if Trump thinks the ride was scary, then the ride was scary for him. I don't even go in helicopters. The best man from our wedding gave us a chopper ride from out of Whistler BC as a wedding gift and it expired after 6 months because we didn't use it. We wouldn't have enjoyed it so we didn't go. I'd go in a helo if it was necessary, but not for pleasure. If I was in Australia and a snake passed by me when I was sitting on the grass, I'd be freaked out by it, my wife would jump out of her skin and land on my head, but both of our moms would die on the spot. An Australian aboriginal granny would probably say "That snake's barely venomous, and it won't eat anything larger than a goat. I would have killed it with my bare hands if I saw it earlier." 5 different people, 4 completely different opinions about what just happened. All of them correct, because the way you feel is subjective, not objective. How you feel about landing somewhere aside from your original intended destination, or about speeding back instead of just hovering around the area for a while, is subjective. Have you ever passed someone on a 2-lane hwy and your passenger freaks out like they almost died? I make the drive from the lower mainland of BC to Edmonton once or twice a year, and if I pass someone and get fully back into my lane with an oncoming car 300 yards away, my wife freaks out. To her "that was a near-death experience". I could do that 2,000 times a day and not a drop of sweat would leave my body, but my wife considers that a near-death experience every time. It takes me an extra hour of driving to make that trip if my wife comes just because I don't pass people. I go 90km/h for hours on end. Plus all the long pit stops. So, if Trump wanted the chopper to land at location A, the original intended location, and then that changed while he was in the air and they had to go somewhere else, or it was too rough to hover around there for as long as they originally intended, guess what? He can say that it was a scary ride and they had to make an emergency landing. How Brown and Newsom felt about it is irrelevant. Maybe they ride in copters all the time. Contrast this to Hillary saying: "We landed under sniper fire and we had to run", when she actually got off the plane and wandered onto a tarmac with a bunch of people, shook a bunch of hands, smiled at everyone, and they all casually walked off into the sunset and had a nice dinner. Hillary is describing a situation that allegedly happened when her feet were already on terra firma, where every human feels at home, not like they do when they're up in a chopper. She describes running from snipers when she was on camera, standing there glad-handing. That was a lie - objectively. An obvious, blatant lie, which leftards dismissed as no big deal. Now, maybe she was warned that there might be snipers in the area, so she was more nervous than she let on, I will concede that much, but she wasn't "under sniper fire". That's a 100% objective analysis with a firm conclusion.
