On Fox they were saying that Walz doesn't have to be her pick. She has until the end of the DNC clown circus to officially name her running mate.

I get that the Dem ticket would look ridiculous if they ditched a VP so soon after replacing Biden as well, but the last clusterfork rolled off of them like water off a duck's back.

What's a harder task for CNN et al:

  • dragging Kamala across the finish line with that valour-thieving, pro-riot, boy-tampon dork, or
  • explaining why she went with a shiny new DEI running mate?

CNN already has a long row to hoe in convincing America that:

  1. being pro-riots doesn't matter.
  2. Being a defund policer doesn't matter.
  3. Failing at the border doesn't matter.
  4. Being part of the worst economic policy administration in 40 years doesn't matter.
  5. Pimping bail for violent rioters doesn't matter.

Now with Walz they have to add to the list:

  1. Being known for wasting money on tampons in boys' bathrooms doesn't matter.
  2. Leaving your citizens and their businesses at the mercy of rioters over and over again doesn't matter
  3. Stolen valour doesn't matter.

Not only that, they suddenly have to convince their own cultists that fat old white guys with guns aren't all racists and misogynists anymore.

Adding a VP pick isn't supposed to make your job harder, it's supposed to make it easier, and Tim Walz is a PR disaster now. Regardless of how little the avg Demi cares about patriotism, everyone, even anti-American gangsters, understand that pretending to be a veteran when you're not is just plain sickening. You can't convince latinos, blacks, or anyone else that pretending to have fought in a war when you never did is ok. It's just despicable and unforgivable.

If Kamala dumps him, the MSM can distract the cultists from the undemocratic tire-fire that the Dems' nomination process has been. It's what they do for a living, and the cultists have never noticed. They can just switch the focus to "THE DEI DYNAMIC DUO!" and the cultists will instantly make that their campaign slogan.

My question is: do the Dems absolutely have to leave Walz on the ticket - has he been officially chosen for better or worse - or is it still just a suggestion right now with an official carved-in-stone naming to be done later?

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

I encourage you guys to run with the line that a guy who served 24 years in the National Guard isn't a veteran. Say it loud, say it proud.

Tim Walz has been 100% busted for pretending to have served in combat, which he did absolutely not do anytime, ever, even for a single second.

Tim Walz uses the term 'veteran' deceptively to create the illusion that he served his country in war when he absolutely did not do that.

Tim Walz is an absolute disgrace to combat veterans, current and ex-military personnel all over the world

That's not what the term "veteran" means dipshit. Anyone who puts their time in is a veteran, but please continue to denigrate people who served but did not fight in a war, I'm sure that will go over great

BD, you're missing the point.

Years ago I was aboard the HMCS Moncton while it visited Montreal. I bought a hat as a souvenir. Later, I wore it in Vermont. In a cafe, an American asked when I served. I explained that I didn't; who I was. No problem. But I never wore the hat again.

For Americans, this is a big deal.

The legal definition of 'veteran' means nothing, dipshit. The fact remains that you can use the word veteran deceptively to fool people into thinking that you are a combat veteran when you are not, and that's what Tim Walz does.

Tim Walz did that multiple times. Multiple times.

In Kamala's selection speech she said about him "Veterans call him CSM Walz".

He said himself that "he was deployed in 'Operation Something Freedom' and was in the "European theatre" protecting bases from Turkey to England..." So he even used the word theatre deceptively, because no one uses that term aside from "theatre of war".

Google "European theatre" and all that comes up is references to war. The term is ingrained in us to only refer to areas where there is combat. Tim Walz IS A DECEPTIVE WEASEL. Absolutely. I know you're ok with that, but you're more of a weasel than he is.

No, sorry, the word veteran should never be used deceptively. That is disgusting. Your defence of it is reprehensible and just adds to your repugnant persona.

FYI I served 3 years in the military: active duty, full-time. I AM NOT A VETERAN. I WILL NEVER TELL ANYONE THAT I AM A VETERAN. I don't care. I just don't care. I'm never going to say or do anything that tricks people into believing that I am a combat veteran. It's just plain disgusting.

If some other 'veteran' wants to call me out for it, good f'ing luck.

The only grey area is where people serve along military fault lines which are within a moment's notice of becoming 'hot' at any minute. The stress is real. The preparation is real. The threat of death is real.

I served on a shitty destroyer in the Pacific. If there was a war I definitely would have been one of the anonymous casualties of war within months. For sure there were soviet subs that trailed us at times, during the cold war, unbeknownst to us.

So what? I never saw a shot fired in anger. I never stared down a uniformed adversary at Checkpoint Charlie. I am not a veteran, period.

If an actual vet is talking, I will shut my f'ing mouth and respect them fully. Full stop. I will never compare myself or anything that I did to what they did in any way, shape or form.

Quote

The difference between me and Tim Walz is that I will never trick people into believing that I'm a veteran, and no one will ever say that I embarrassed my ship, the navy, combat vets, or vets, or anyone else in the military.

The fact that a lot of the people who knew Walz and served with him, say those things about him, tells you everything you need to know.

The fact that actual combat veterans hate him tells you everything you need to know.

So you wore the hat and the guy didn't have a problem with your wearing the hat after you explained it? That doesn't sound like it's a big deal.

Anyway, I think accusing people who served honourably but did not see combat of stealing valour and lying about their veteran status is a great tactic for the Repugs, they need to double-nay! triple!-down on it.

I bought an HMCS Qu'Appelle hat for my dad. He wore it, and in my opinion he had every right to.

I don't see the father or mother or sibling or wife or child of a service member as having any less right to wear that kind of thing than an actual serviceman. Being proud of a family member is perfectly fine, and those people live with the same level of stress as the active duty members.

It's arguably better to be someone who died in a war than to be a mother, father, wife, child, etc.

If there was a button hanging off of the hat, it had better belong to that immediate family member though.

The people who "carried weapons in war" and saw their friends' heads get blown off don't appreciate it.

There are many many millions of Americans whose standards are just as high as mine, and not even one of them will vote for Walz. It's a mistake to have an anti-veteran like Walz on the ticket, but I hope he stays there. A vote against Walz is a vote for respectability and the free world.

No. No one ever "misspoke", and made a blatant claim of being a military veteran like that, and didn't notice it. He's been trying to walk the fine line between deceit and decent all his life and sometimes he crosses it.
