Lol, do you really believe that fantasy? I mean seriously. Woman said the less cops there are the less crime there is. That isn't a strawman. That's what she said.

No, she didn't. YOU said that she said it, but she didn't say it. That's a straw man.

The point that she is making is not that removing police reduces crime. It's that there's no strong correlation between high police presence and low crime rates. If there are low crime, low police areas, what can we learn from those circumstances and how can we replicate them in higher crime areas?

Yes. Non-violent protests are usually more effective at creating change.

The Civil RIghts Movement of the 1960’s worked specifically because it was non-violent. Had they resorted to violence, they would have fallen right into the hands of their enemies and lost. Same thing with Gandhi.

Forcing change. Her words.

She was talking about violent riots, and then she said forcing change.

You know that during the measly 3-hr protest at capitol hill, Trump urged people to be peaceful 3 times. 3 times.

He didn't tell people to keep going, or dog-whistle to people that they should keep going. He told people straight up, 3 times, to stop.

Can you imagine if he said sh1t like this instead? Would you not see this as a message to keep going:

  • "This is not a moment, this is a movement. It is a movement that is fueled by the diversity, the beautiful diversity of who we are, coming together and in this case demanding change and justice for everyone.
  • This movement provides a counter-force to get us where we need to be. The intensity and the brilliance of this Jan 6th protest is not going to let up, and it should not let up. It won't stop by tonight and it will continue past tomorrow.

What would you retards say?

He told rioters to "stop" 3 times and all of you little cultist f-tards like to say that Trump did nothing to stop it. If he gushed praise to the rioters and gave that speech above would you not see that as a cue to keep rioting?

I know that you're gonna try to lie and weasel your way out of this, I just don't see how.

Yep. When people say things and then you misrepresent the meaning it's your problem. Again, if you don't like the policy proposals, debate them honestly instead of making up some ridiculous caricature of the argument. It doesn't make her look dumb, it makes you look dumb.

Again, Harris is speaking about the protests, not the riots. You live in your own fantasy world, but the protests and the movement, were overwhelmingly (93%) peaceful.

And no, Trump waited 187 minutes to tell the insurrectionists to stop and to home. The orange traitor say watching it on TV instead, reportedly with some satisfaction, while his staff and family begged him to call it off.

Oh, and he egged them on toward Pence. I'm sure that was a nice diversion from the show.

Your "alternative facts" are not reality.

I won't live in your limp little alternate reality.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/26/politics/kfile-kamala-harris-praised-defund-the-police-movement-in-june-2020/index.html

What this CNN article exhibits is that yes, Kamala does support defunding police and that she will easily try to change her position depending on who she's talking to.

Bottom line...she does support defunding police and does not have any real principles to speak of...especially exemplified by taking a 10 second look at her web site.

Jeebus, you're slow.

Try reading your link.

"Harris said in the June radio interview the movement “rightly” called out the amount of money spent on police departments instead of community services such as education, housing, and healthcare, emphasizing that more police did not equate to more public safety.

...

This whole movement is about rightly saying, we need to take a look at these budgets and figure out whether it reflects the right priorities”

Which is almost verbatim what I explained to your esteemed colleague, who was busy inventing his own very stupid version of Harris' comments.

So you've now caught up to where the conversation was several posts ago. Congrats.

No she isn't, you worthless liar.

At no point did she ever clarify her position by saying anything to the extent of "We support the peaceful protests but the rioting is unconscionable and has to stop!"

She was bailing out the violent criminals you dumb f'ck. What message does that send? The very few people who were held accountable for all the assaults, looting, burning and murders are the people SHE WAS OVERTLY SUPPORTING WHEN SHE PIMPED THE BAIL FUND.

She just gushes about everything that's going on, and wht's going on is a lot of burning.

Just remember how offended and afraid that dumb c was when unarmed rioters dared come within 100 yards of her and her armed police officers... Does she think that she's the only person worthy of protection? Because while she was hiding behind cops, becoming extremely offended by rioting, she was simultaneously and overtly supporting defund police.

  • Kamala Harris [paraphrasing for her biography]: "Riots are f'ing AWESOME, but only in the areas where the peons live. Whenever peons are assaulted, and pigs are ambushed and killed, and businesses are looted and destroyed, and low-income housing buildings are burnt to the ground, it just makes me feel all warm inside. KEEP IT COMIN' BOYS! And don't worry, if you get thrown in jail, momma Kamala got your back. I WILL get you back on the streets and into the rioting! Don't you worry about it!"

Her message comes through loud and clear. She attaks the police, praises the riots, and gets the very worst rioting offenders out of jail. It's what she does, dummy. Stop pretending that she didn't say and do the things she did. The videos have been posted here often enough. You know all the facts. I don't think so Captain Liar.

According to the American Coucil on Criminal Justice,

"Not all cities reported data for each offense (see appendix for which cities reported which offenses); trends in offenses with fewer reporting cities should be viewed with caution. "

https://counciloncj.org/crime-trends-in-u-s-cities-mid-year-2024-update/

So...the claim is that crime is declining. Yet at the bottom of that page is a table that shows many, if not most, polled cities, failed to respond to most of the poll questions/categories. What can be truthfully said is...they don't know because the cities refuse to report. That's all.

The BBC is generally a little more honest and open about US politics. Let's see what they found out.

"According to incomplete data released by the FBI, violent crime fell by an estimated 1% in 2021 compared with the previous year. However, the number of murders increased by more than 4%.

There are questions about the reliability of the FBI's crime report as it excluded data from some of the biggest US cities, including New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

It's important to point out that last year, the FBI switched to a new data collection system. According to one analysis, nearly 40% of law enforcement agencies have failed to report their 2021 crime figures - so we may only have a partial picture of the most recent crime rates."

Hmmm...

Ya know what? Nobody really knows if crime has risen or fallen during the Brandon years. I'n't that speciaaalll?

So...Captain Liar...just what might your "priorities" be? One might assume killin' a priority. Theivin'. Rapin'. Yessiree...those would be list toppers I would think. So how does one achieve that? Well...one might employ a short term and long term plan.

Short term...increase police and reform prosecution so that consequences become to risky.

Long term...actively promote what is commonly called "family values". Penalize delinquent dad's...and moms...heavily. Allow attractive incentives for maintaining the family unit. Employ the MSM to use their platform to promote these ideas. Discourage the "arts" that glorify crime. Get off this hate campaign against the Christians. (And don't think that many of us dont know you Libbies love to trash the Christians, but haven't got the balls to treat Islam the same way).

Now...you may respond that this is social engineering...and you'd be right. It is. What do you call "woke-ism"? Like it or not, governments do, by necessity, engage in social engineering. Perhaps a more...unifying direction would allow us to then finally...

Defund the police.

What it means...lol.

So you have trouble with comprehension. Let me help.

Defund: to remove funds from.

The: An English article.

Police: those who are employed to serve and protect the public from...criminals.

So to recap...

Defund The Police means to reduce police funding. This is generally a bad idea, especially when the US also has its borders wide open and millions of illegal aliens are stealing everything in sight. Not to mention the raids on stores and the car thievery going on.

Now you know.

You're welcome.

They loved the message as "DEFUND POLICE" when they heard it, because they are cultists and they have no choice but love the message from their idols.

Then when their idols switched the message because it was costing them votes, and told them that "defund police" doesn't really mean "defund - police", it means something else that's cool, and again, with no other option available to them, the cultists all said "the other thing is cool now! "

It's hard to believe that these leftards can't connect the dots between all the things that Kamala said and did, and what the rioters were doing before, during and after she said it, but they can somehow make a connection between Trump constantly saying "Obey the police. Please remain peaceful" and "OVERTHROW THE US GOV'T! KILL ALL THE DEMS!"

Oh wait, it's not hard to believe, because they're cultists. They will believe every single thing they are told until they're standing on a pile the smoking corpses of everyone who dared to vote against their idols, celebrating democracy.

You really are pathological. Can't help lying, even though you KNOW you'll be called out on it. Just can't stop yourself.

She was on Colbert in June, Jackass, discussing the protests.

She was tapped to be Biden's running mate on Aug 11.

Then after some right nights of actual rioting in late August, Harris addressed the rioting on August 27th.

Which was her first solo appearance after being tapped as Biden's running mate on the 11th. She literally made the statement in her first speech. And literally in direct response to real-time routing.

The riots were not "over long before" and October 29th is just pure fiction, another of your lies, you worthless sack of crap.

Every time. And you never learn.

Your family doesn't work? Gee I'm sorry.

I made the case that defunding the police can be achieved. But you don't like the method because...your family life sucks?

Listen...Sweetheart...you can't just defund police before you solve the issues that generate crime. That can never work. Much like your family...

Did you forget to take some important meds? How is my family figuring into your nonsense?
