That's not pandering, gatomontes99. That's code switching! Get with the program, man. Everyone does that. It's perfectly normal.

My bad.

The Rules for Liberal tactics:

  1. If they can't refute the content, attack the source.
  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

Who is this strategy supposed to appeal to? Are black people really gonna be like, "Damn Right! She's not one of us!".

As if you can only be "black" unless you can draw a genetic line back to slaves in the antebellum south?

And the idea that she's not African American because her heritage comes from India and Jamaica. Do you know who's African American by that definition? Elon Musk.

Does the term Biracial not even compute here? JD Vance's children are both White and Indo-American. It's not that complicated.

Parsing someone's racial identity is the epitome of racism.

Pretty obvious you’re a racist.

Kamala was raised in Oakland, California and went to the all-black Howard University in Maryland. You racist clowns aren’t going to impress anyone or win any votes by talking about whether she is or isn’t black or Indian. She is both. And you are a racist. This strategy of insulting her race is not going to work

A NAZI like you calling someone racist?

Ranks right up there with a street hooker calling Mother Teresa a whore.

Actually, no, it is not.

Either way, what was being done here was mocking her for the phony accent she put on when she went south.

Is using an accent from the area you're visiting is offensive now?

Jamaican's seemed to love this.

Did I say offensive? No. I am not offended. I think she is a phony. I think it is absurdly silly.

I said phony.

Also, the clip of Obama was him clearly transitioning from speaking normally, to playing up an obvious attempt to use that accent for a quick laugh and ice breaker and then he immediately transitions back to talking normally.

Clearly, it's not the same thing It's as if Obama showed up and spoke with a phony Jamaican accent the entire time as if it was just his normal speaking accent.

They were probably being polite. I'll bet many of them were internally rolling their eyes. How can you not when a fake democrat piece of shit from America comes for a visit?

There's polite and there's loudly applauding which was done here.

Obama was a very popular.

Kamala Harris the 'soul-destroying bully': Former staff expose shock details of degrading tirades, decades-long 'toxic' behavior that left people in TEARS - and saw them quit at unprecedented levels

Kamala Harris was all smiles when she arrived at Joe Biden's former Delaware campaign headquarters on Monday.

She was there to lift the spirits of blindsided staffers, who after 15 months of toiling to re-elect the president, suddenly found themselves working for her.

'It is my great honor to have Joe's endorsement in this race,' she boasted to cheers from a crowd who were now on her payroll.

Trump could stand on a stage and repeat the word “Booger” over and over and say nothing else

I would pay to see that debate.

If he still won the presidency, that would make it all the much funnier.

yeah we had the President of the United States talking in the last debate about his opponent having "sex with porn stars" and then lying about his golf score and asking his opponent to a golf match, but only if he carried his own bag.  I was like - what happened to the art of the debate?  Lincoln/Douglas or even Mulroney/Turner?

Well, Trump set the bar so low, a rat would hit its head crossing underneath.

He did that while looking like this:

I don't know if I agree with that. In one respect, yes. Trump would be the one more likely saying "booger" over and over again. He uses childish insults and has a nickname for every opponent. On the other hand, I think Democrats have sunk to extreme lows in making fantastical claims about their political opponents. They have engaged in a lot more fear-mongering.

Now, I think this was the reverse during the Obama years. I think Republicans were doing that far more. They were focused on Obama being a communist and a secret Muslim. Maybe Romney and Ryan didn't do that, but Republicans in general.

Yes, the Dems have taken it to a whole new level.  Trump can't say anything now without it being spun to the negative.  And the Dems just keep repeating it.  Sleepy Joe during the debate just kept going back to the old debunked lies the Dems created, like "injecting bleach", "sex with porn stars", "suckers and losers".  The other day they took an out of context comment Trump made to Christians about not having to worry about voting in four years and immediately their gullible dupes were saying that he was telegraphing to voters that he's going to form a dictatorship.  Even though with the US government system and constitution that is basically impossible.  But away they go, with the fearmongering and the garbage.

Then of course we have the history re-write going on right now with Kamala.  "She didn't help get criminals out of jail in Minnesota by raising their bail money."  Wow, it's just such a machine!

And it's all due to the fact that the Democrats can't run on their record.  So these constant lies are all they have.

Whoops.  That'll leave a mark.

Her polling numbers are already starting to droop.  She SHOULD get a bit of a leadership bump at the convention, but we'll see.  I think pretty quick the dems are going to realize that they did not successfully change the channel after all.

She wasn't brought in to win, she was brought in to keep the campaign money flowing and not hurt the down ballot candidates in blue states.

Biden was forced out because big money donors were refusing to donate and Trump was making enough head way in Blue States it may hurt down ballot candidates in the light blue and purple districts.

In their heart of hearts the DNC leadership knows they will probably lose.

Right now Kamala is in a honeymoon period but she hasn't done a single real interview and the more people get to know Kamala the less they like her, just ask her staff.

Right now you have Trump going into the lions den being interviewed by the most hostile liberal reporters and Kamala has yet to answer a single question.

Ultimately, though, I think that is what Trump should focus on. Let things like Kamala's accent change speak for itself.

Yeah and many including me commented on that here before, but in order to do that she's still got to put up a plausible fight. The dems already look like losers for their screw up with biden, if their back up also starts to go down in flames then their supporters are seriously going to lose heart and it will very badly affect fundraising and the downvote.  A close race where she puts up a good fight and just can't make it happen in the end but did well is one thing, flops and is nosediving by the end of September is going to be very bad.
