I have been following a lawyer defending J6 defendants for the last year + now and he made this prediction a while back and was one of the ones making this case to the Federal Judge in the trials he was in... but they all kept ruling in favor of the government here.

This is exactly the kind of vindictive lawfare this DOJ has been engaged in, where they have been trying to find any obscure law they can to push and stretch it as much as they can to trump up charges even more on people.

Glad the SCOTUS knocked this down.

This is exactly why I am 100% on board with Trump turning the DOJ over to be this vindictive to the political left now.

Merrick Garland and members of congress ruined many lives by promoting these sentencing enhancements.

Last night Joe Biden cried about Trump potentially going after him. Today Adam Schiff is crying about the potential for being imprisoned. A this after they abused human rights.

Brandon, Garland and Schiff belong in jail.

You're ^FOS. They have violated NO LAWS and you cannot even cite a law under which they'd be prosecuted.

SO PATHETICALLY BANKRUPT. LMAO

They violated article 9 of the UN Declaration of Human Rights. I think this is going to be more serious for these people especially given all the treason talk

You can't even make a case for ^this BULLSHIT.

Only 346 were affected, and only the ones who weren't convicted of another felony MIGHT have their sentence reduced.

See tonight's PBS News Hour.

IOW, you know NOTHING about the law, and proved that again.

You are OK with posting ^BULLSHIT with NO EVIDENCE.

Criminals VIOLATE human rights and NEED to be DISSUADED by punishment. Duh.

There is NOTHING criminal about prosecuting people for a violation that is found unConstitutional by a SCOTUS. Duh

Weirdest thing about this ruling was a liberal supreme court judge and a conservative supreme court judge switched places in the ruling with Barret against it and Jackson for it.

Jackson knows this likely gets alot of black people out of prisons as well. Not a bad thing to dismantle the prison industrial complex either
