Here's their actual quote:

  • Most presidents usually grasp for unity after tragedy. Trump stokes division.

And here's their reason for saying his speech "stoked divisivion":

  • Trump was uninterested in trying to bring the country together to make sense of the tragedy. In other words, he was himself.

  • “It’s happening all too often and we’re just not going to let it happen,” he said to the press outside the funeral home. “We have to get back to law and order,” he went on. “The only thing we can say is, maybe something is going to be learned. We’ve gotta toughen it up, we’ve gotta strengthen it up. This should never be allowed.”

Can someone show me where the divisiveness is in that statement?

He never said anything about bidolt or the Demonrats there.

By contrast, when Biden went on an angry rant against 75M Trump voters, calling them all MAGA extremists, MSNBC called it: "a striking prime-time speech ... warning about the existential threat posed by MAGA Republicans."🤣

MSNBC isn't even on the same level with the Weekly World News, The Enquirer, and CNN. They're so gross I doubt that even mainstream leftards can watch it.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

Of course Trump turned a wake for a tragic death into a campaign speech and event,  and all you can do is criticize the news outlets for reporting that FACT. 🤮

Surprised you're not used to news networks calling Trump out for HIS NARCISSISM, but they probably don't do that on FOS LIES.

They never said that at all, stupid. They said that he used it to stoke division, and that's not a fact.

Biden used his speech in Philadelphia to divide Americans, and MSNBC called this hate-laced tirade:

Joe22Adolf22Biden.thumb.png.c575b800699b44ed77810da0f2278f7f.png

"A striking prime-time speech". ^That^ was nothing but divisive.

Biden said that he'd be a uniter and all he does is stoke division and hide. He answers 1 carefully scripted ice cream cone question a week.

I am shocked they haven't found a way to go after Trump for the boat crashing into the bridge.

Don't be shocked, but the MAGA CULT is already going after Biden for it, related to the border problem for which Trump told Congress to not pass the remedy.

While Fox’s Maria Bartiromo tried linking the disaster to border policies, Matt Schlapp suggested it had something to do with post-COVID labor policy.

Here is what they REALLY said:

Trump attends wake for fallen NYPD officer as he ramps up rhetoric on crime

Quote

After he attended the wake Thursday of slain New York police officer Jonathan Diller, former President Donald Trump expressed outrage over the killing and used the opportunity to tout his position on the need to curb crime.

"What happened is such a sad, sad event — such a horrible thing and it's happening all too often and we're just not going to let it happen," Trump said to cameras outside the Massapequa Funeral Home after the wake, flanked by about a dozen police officers.

....

Trump used the opportunity to push his views about cracking down on crime, saying, "We have to get back to law and order. We have to do a lot of things differently because this is not working. This is happening too often."

AKA campaign speech. "do a lot of things differently" is the definition of divisive and that is HIS QUOTE.

Why shouldn't he bring up the crime issue? The two guys responsible for this officer's murder, one had 21 prior arrests, the other 14.

Why do these guys keep getting let back out on the street? What kind of politician thinks it's better to have people like these on the streets instead of behind bars?

It's a campaign speech and ONLY stokes ANGER among the grieving family.

Wakes are USUALLY about consoling grief, NOT stoking HATE AND DIVISION. 🤮

Let's see the family let Trump stay and speak and made Hochul leave.

Maybe you should ask the family what they thought about Trump being there and stop assuming how Trumps message was taken because that is what matters.

Trump was there and Biden was down the street at a fundraiser with Lizzo. We can see what his priorities are.

Are you worried about hate being directed at the criminals with lengthy records or those that push for catch and release?

I am saying that it is highly inappropriate to commandeer a wake for Trump's personal political interests and a campaign speech.

Of course that is nothing which would bother the former narcissist in chief. 🤮

Nor you, nor any right wingers here, apparently.

Ya know robo-dweeb...normally you're just an annoying little freak. But this is extraordinarily gross.

Had Brandon been allowed to the wake, he'd have tried to say very much the same. But because it was Trump who got invited and attended, you choose to use the wake of a murdered cop, as a political tool.

Trump said very little and none of what he said was anything not in the minds of every sensible person. This BS needs to stop.

You have wallowed to a new low robo-dweeb. I hope karma pays you a nice little visit soon.

Trump knew where to be. Biden speaks in gibberish and can't even find his way off a stage.

It happened in a blue state, in a blue city. It's actually their fault.
