Subliminal? No - money. And the modern world.

There are 35 million Canadians. The federal R-C/CBC subsidy is about $1.2 billion. By my calculation, each Canadian pays about $35 annually.

There are some 10,000 R-C/CBC employees.

Radio-Canada/CBC is under federal jurisdiction. I prefer a federal state.

These are foreign students. They don't get student loans. At least, not from our governments.
