Yes it does but the term "fair haired boy" is an old term used to describe a favoured one. Like "golden boy" , "pain in the ass", "dark horse" and hundreds of others that describe a person. Quote

I've heard the term fair haired boy before - but it's very obscure. It may be used more in some regions but i woudln't be surprised if most hadn't heard it. Reminds me of "Fair weather friend" and i bet most people today wouldn't know what that meant either. Quote

Yeah i think both are falling out of use. Of course, i live on the wet coast so we don't actually HAVE fair weather so the term would be more confusing here Quote

Aristides Posted November 14, 2023 Report Posted November 14, 2023 (edited) No one ever it was. It's a term like "pain in the ass". It isn't literal, none of these sayings are. Edited November 14, 2023 by Aristides Quote

About 95% of the people on earth have black hair and brown eyes. Almost every single person whose ancestors are native to Asia, Africa, and South America, Australia, and NA have black hair and brown eyes, plus some of European descent. The term "fair-haired child" would almost certainly be archaic, and native to northern Europe, where it was a realistic possibility. It's not something that makes sense in today's 'triggered' society. Quote If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.
