Another non-answer. Offering them what? How does this stop Hamas?

It is not on me to let you know how it works out, this is your stupid dishonest argument.

Offering Palestinians peace would rob Hamas of the oxygen you people currently have on tap.

The Palestinians have been offered peace for almost 80 years, eyeball.

There has never been a moment when the offer of peace wasn't on the table while you have been alive.

Palestinians do not want peace.

What part of "The Three Noes" don't you get?

Do you know about the three noes, eyeball?

  • No peace with Israel
  • No negotiation with Israel
  • No recognition of Israel

What makes you think that "peace" was ever one of the Palestinians' goals? Who told you that?

You're sitting there trying to negotiate something for them that THEY DO NOT WANT.

I'd like for you to point me to something from the Palestinians or Hamas or from anyone else speaking for them, that says that one of their goals is peace....

Well.... 1200 israelis dead,  72,000 Palestinians by some counts.  ;)  Plus they'll likely take over a good hunk of gaza and managed to talk the us into bombing the snot out of the iranian nuclear program. And they're trashing hezbollah and may take some of their land too.

I wouldn't say it's working out BAD for them...

ME Timeline:

August 1947, Pakistani Partition:

  • The British were ending their colonial reign over the ME after WWII, and accepted the request of muslim separatists to carve out a sovereign nation for them from inside of India. On day 1 the Pakistanis shoot, stab, burn and hang 800,000 Sikhs and Hindus, and drive 8M others out, leaving Pakistan almost completely ethnically cleansed.
  • That same day, neighbouring muslim countries started opening embassies and establishing normal relations with them, as if nothing bad had ever happened. For 80 years, Pakistan has been embraced as a good neighbour, despite committing a second, even larger genocide in 1971.

May 1948, Israeli Partition:

  • Following the exact same script as above, the British are ending their colonial reign over the ME after WWII, and they accepted the request of Jewish separatists to carve out a sovereign nation for them from inside of what was then the province of Palestine.
  • Countries that welcomed Pakistani partition, and were neutral to the slaughter of 800,000 Sikhs and Hindus there just 8 months earlier, have taken notice of the fact that nothing happened to Pakistan, and they feel like it's time for another post-partition ethnic cleansing, so Israel is attacked on day 1 of their existence.
  • May 14 1948, little Israel is attacked by the combined armies of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Yemen, as well as whatever armies and militias the Palestinians could muster.
  • That 10-month "war", which was really an attempted genocide against the Jews in Israel, resulted in the Israelis holding their own territory, as well as taking over 60% of the territory that was allotted to Palestine.

6-Day War, 1967:

  • Israel has been on the outs with every single muslim country since their inception. Non-cooperation and hostility have existed for every day since partition, so Israel's only trade routes are across the water. Egypt has been in the habit of trying to blockade Israel's southeastern port "Eilat", and kicked the UN out of the Sinai so that they could again close off that port. Israel had warned them that closing off that port would cause war, and so they struck back on June 5th, driving Egyptian forces all the way across the Sinai Peninsula. Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon were also in that war, which ended very badly for them. Once agin, a genocide against Israel had been thwarted.

The Khartoum Resolution (3 noes):

  • A few months after being defeated in the 6-day war, 8 Arab nations met in Sudan to solidify a plan to deal with Israel. Their position is that at no point, ever, can any Arab nation establish friendly relations with Israel, and their new policy is centred around The 3 Noes...
  • no recognition of Israel as a nation
  • no peace with Israel
  • no negotiations with Israel. Israel is just frozen out forever

At this point, take note of the treatment of Pakistan and Israel since partition by ME muslims:

  • Pakistan killed 800,000 people to ethnically cleanse their country
  • Israel killed less than 500 people to that end
  • Pakistan drove 8,000,000 people out of their ancestral homes, with no right to ever return
  • Israel expelled less than 1/10th as many people, about 700k
  • Pakistan almost completely wiped out minorities. Less than 2% of Pakistan was non-muslim after that
  • Israel was not ethnically cleansed. 10% of Israel remains muslim to this day, and muslims in Israel have more human rights (both on the books and in practice) to this day than they do in any muslim nation.
  • Pakistan was accepted as a good neighbour immediately by muslims nations in the ME
  • Israel was never accept as a nation, and the nations that accepted Pakistan tried to commit genocide against Israel. Twice.

Israeli Peace Proposals Since 1967:

Historical and Key Proposals:
AI Overview:
Israeli peace proposals have historically aimed at resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict through land-for-peace deals, with major initiatives focusing on a two-state solution, including the 1993 Oslo Accords, the 2000 Camp David summit, and various "roadmaps". Key, recurring issues include borders, the status of Jerusalem, Jewish settlements, and Palestinian refugees
  • Allon Plan (1967): Following the Six-Day War, this plan proposed returning most of the West Bank to Arab control while retaining strategic areas for Israeli security.
  • Oslo Accords (1993–1995): Israel and the PLO recognized each other, establishing the Palestinian Authority (PA) as an interim self-government for the West Bank and Gaza.
  • 2000 Camp David Summit: Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered a Palestinian state with limited sovereignty, with Israel retaining major settlement blocks and security control over sections of the West Bank.
  • The Clinton Parameters (2000): A proposed framework for peace suggesting 94–96% of the West Bank for Palestine, a land swap, and dividing Jerusalem.
  • Israeli Peace Initiative (2011): A proposal from the Israeli left-wing in response to the Arab Peace Initiative, calling for a near-total withdrawal from the West Bank and a shared capital in Jerusalem.
  • Trump Peace Plan (2020): Often dubbed the "Peace to Prosperity" plan, it favored Israeli security interests and annexations in the West Bank

Nothing has ever been good enough.

The only thing that Palestinians have ever been willing to accept is full autonomy over the entire region, and they feel like it's just a matter of time before they finally manage to ethnically cleane the region of Jews.

Since 2005 the Israelis were completely out of Gaza, allowing them full sovereignty within their borders. Then Came Oct 7th.

  1. PALESTINIANS DON'T WANT PEACE. They only want a genocide against Israel.
  2. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE KILLED IN 1948 IS MEANINGLESS TO ARABS. They only care about the religion of the dead people. 800,000 dead Sikhs and Hindus means nothing to them, but less than 500 dead muslims has caused them 80 years of sleepless nights.

You OTOH insist they voted for this decades ago in some sort of election.

And it's still as true today that Palestinians have the same right every human being has to resist oppression.

It gives everyone a normal civilized forum in which to settle their grievances and issues. Israel and Palestine are currently unable to negotiate extraditions because Palestine is not a state - there's no apparatus or no infrastructure or institutions of justice for anyone to use.

Palestinians rejected the 1947 UN partition plan, and leadership walked away from offers in 2000 and 2008.

So you want to force them into statehood?

Then the world gives them oodles of cash so they can build longer tunnels and bigger missiles.

Folly.

What do you think Gazans will do when they get $70B? What will they spend it all on?

That landscape is a reflection of the inner ugliness of Gazans... When people take all of the money they receive through charity and use it to try to kill women and children, and to host "spit on r4ped/murdered women" parties, that's what they actually look like inside. That's what was on their goal board all of their lives. They just wanted Israel to look like that, not themselves.

Can you name another celebration they have in Gaza aside from "Mardi Graza", where they spit on the naked corpses of women that they r4ped and murdered?

Do they ever shoot fireworks there, or do they just shoot rockets into Israel? Asking for a friend.
