Pretty sure we can all agree that Israel will not back down, and there are already reports that Hezbollah has fired rockets at Israel. Netanyahu has stated that. Hamas "will pay an unprecedented price," and "this war will take time. It will be difficult." Of course, people here will only want to frame this in terms of America's political situation, but Hamas doesn't give a shlt about who's in the White House. President Biden's statement on the invasion is: "The United States unequivocally condemns this appalling assault against Israel by Hamas terrorists from Gaza, and I made clear to Prime Minister Netanyahu that we stand ready to offer all appropriate means of support to the Government and people of Israel. Terrorism is never justified. Israel has a right to defend itself and its people. The United States warns against any other party hostile to Israel seeking advantage in this situation. Those ministers are the ones pushing the leveling of Gaza plan (not that Bibi is not sympathetic). And Bibi is busy dismantling Israel's supreme court so the legal charges against him will be dismissed. Well, I don't see anywhere for Palestinian civilians to flee, either, but Bibi is talking like there is, which indicates that he is considering leveling Gaza with 2M Palestinians at risk of genocide.
