That stage show the Republicans led by Jim Jordan put on yesterday in grilling Attorney General Merit Garland about his non response to their self created conspiracy lies was just the biggest FARCE I have ever heard. You could see Jim Jordan quivering to try and trip up the pretty unflappable Merit Garland and kept failing, and failing, and failing, backed up by a bunch of wannabe The South Will Rise Again distant descendants of the worst offenders against the Union in the Civil War ( which this year is almost 150 years ago, i.e. two.lifetimes ago).  It was an embarrassing humiliation showing the total lack  of candor and truth the Republicans following Trump have. The whole thing was nauseating to hear and see but I am glad I did, now I know which democratic races candidates I need to send campaign donations to, because sanity is NOT what this fanatic bunch of Republicans is all about. I used to be an Independent voter, now, thanks to this televised kangaroo court, I will firmly vote Democrat.  There is no way America us going to allow its laws to be changed to let these Trumpians and their wannabe dictator Trump get off from the crimes they committed against America in the January 6 Insurrection and its premeditated attempt to overthrow the U. S. Government.

Gee...you're outraged. Good. You should be.

As of yesterday, US electorate trust in the DOJ has hit a new low. More toast for dispensing.

Have a warm and fuzzy day. ?

Funny, I read just the opposite in multiple Conservative sources this morning, in fact one described the whole thing as a reinforcement of the Justice Department.  Frankly I am surprised you would put your foot in your mouth so readily. That obstructionist attitude is better seen on the target Jim Jordan painted on the backs of his whole grilling crew yesterday. You know that none if them will be walking around as free men when their constituents start seeing nothing getting accomplished in their counties that get them jobs, or improve their credit, rebuild their schools, etc but oh, hey, they'll get to see Biden the younger in jail.

This is the second time writing many meaningless words which are totally devoid of common logic.

Again all you needed to say is... I'm sorry for subjecting everyone to this drivel. It's just that I am a miserable sufferer of 4th stage TDS.

Or, I could say this, I am a very long time legal researcher with more than a few publications, what I write I research heavily to be sure my facts are correct. Can't say the same for the name calling and words of the minions of the former POTUS who lie through their teeth.

Who appointed the prosecutor who’s prosecuting Hunter Biden?

Why is that relevant and iat that the best argument you have? I watched pencil-neck Schiff harp on that along with most Democrats. It's completely irrelevant and smells like desperation.

Your team is complaining about Trump’s appointee as if he’s their opposition. They chose him.

And this is your only argument...Trump chose him.

Well...Trump is not POTUS right now and that botched sweetheart heart deal the guy tried to slip by, says everything I need to know about his...adherence to the law.

Do you not see a fundamental problem with ^^this pattern of reasoning. You only accept the validity of things that confirm your biases or conform to your preferences.

In the mold of Trump, "If I win the election, it was fair. If I lose the election, it was fraud."

In the mold of turning on effective lifetime Republican warriors (like McConnell or Pence) and calling them RINOs if they break from Trump.

When a prosecutor Weis's track record, who was hand-picked by TrumpCo to hunt the Bidens comes up with a set of charges, the sane reaction should be "Well, that must be what is plausible under the law."  But instead you, without any legal expertise or understanding of the evidence "feel" that something more should have happened, so you impugn his intent and qualification.

Regardless of how aligned or "on your side" a person appears to be, if they don't go to to the maximal extremes that you feel are right, they are apostates. You don't care about their expertise or the pesky intrusions of reality.

It's a problem you should get checked out.

Don't be such a twit.

There are numerous whistleblowers who watched the DOJ "slow walk" investigations till the time limit expired.

You do believe the whistleblowers...don't you?

That doesn't really have anything to do with my post, but okay...

You are accusing Weiss, (who was hand picked by "your team") of being corrupt because his investigation didn't reach the conclusion and outcomes that you had foreordained. That's crazy.

The "whistleblowers" were roundly refuted last week by multiple others involved. It seems their accusations were not grounded in fact. The other people in the room contradicted Shapley's version of events. Perhaps Shapley was confused or misunderstood. Perhaps he is  a "rah rah" conspiracy fanboy too?

At any rate, there is a minority opinion on what transpired and you're going to embrace the minority opinion and call everyone else corrupt (despite no knowledge or evidence of the facts) simply because you find Shapley's version convenient. Again, it's a massive breakdown of logic on your part.

So you don't believe whistleblowers.

From Schiff's opening statement at the dumb-ass Ukraine impeachment:

Quote

This morning we hear from two of the national security professionals who became aware of these efforts.

Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, whose family fled oppression in the Soviet Union when he was a toddler, is a career Army officer, an Iraq War veteran who was awarded a Purple Heart, and an expert in Russia and Ukraine who has worked at the highest levels of the Pentagon. In July 2018, he was detailed to the White House, in part to coordinate policy on Ukraine.

Jennifer Williams is a career Foreign Service Officer who is currently detailed to the Office of the Vice-President and responsible for Europe and Eurasia issues.

Let’s be real: If Biden fired the prosecutor investigating his son, it doesn’t matter who he chose, you guys would go nuclear-level ape shlt. So best you’re going to get is the Prosecutor appointed by Trump and the FBI Director appointed by Trump and judges appointed by Trump… and if all those people are incompetent or corrupt, that’s tough shlt.

OK lets be real: The following have already been destroyed:

Joe Biden

Chris Wray

Merrick Garland

David Wiess

James Comey

Peter Strzok

Andrew McCabe

Kevin Clinesmith

Hillary-Billary

Biden, the FBI and the DOJ now do NOT have the trust of the majority of the public.

Biden is under water on every poll.

Mission Accomplished. Everything and anything further...will be gravy.

Don't be silly. I made no blanket statement about whistleblowers.

Vindman's claims were absolutely backed up by the facts. Note that I said facts, not interpretations or opinions. Shapley, on the other hand, seems to not have his facts straight, as they have been generally contradicted by the other people involved.

For example, Shapley claimed that Weiss, in the past, had requested Special Prosecutor status but was denied. Everyone else, including Weiss, says that isn't the case--that when he recently requested that status for the first time it was granted. That's a very large disagreement on a central fact.

You're obviously going to believe whatever you want to believe (ala oil production) but it's not sensible, serious or logical.

Another nuanced analysis from you! Whenever facts get involved you immediately collapse into a puddle of toxic sewage.

If you don't have self respect, we certainly can't respect you either. If you're content being a lazy parrot, so be it.
