There's no way anyone with a grain of intelligence could claim to not know what Trump and his mob are by now. They are clearly and openly echoing the credo of authoritarian tyrants: if that "democracy" isn't working for us, there's no reason for it to exist.

Unfortunately, many in the population may assume that being nominated by a party with a long-standing political record would and could offer any assurances of his acts; that it guarantees normalcy of this bunch; whereas it would only be a final failure and dereliction of the duty to the society. Calling openly to annul and change the results of a democratic election. It's normal only in the third world. If one of the parties attempts to normalize that, the epoch of democracy in America can be de facto, over.

It cannot be any clearer than this. It can be the final test of whether citizens still understand why they have democracy, and value it. Democracy is not an eternal gift from the fathers, only a contract between responsible and reasonable citizens. It will not survive the rule of a mindless authoritarian mob, taking their daily scripture from the lips of a pathological liar idol. This one would be interesting to watch. And scary.

Trump they've insisted for years was guilty of all manner of crime despite massive investigations proving otherwise and anyone who said 'why hasn't he been charged then" was  the worst human on the planet.

Clinton very obviously committed crimes and the evidence was there but they insist she was innocent as the driven snow otherwise theyd' have charged her
