Keep in mind that there are two separate topics at play here:

1) people who are going through this or have gone through this whom we should support and wish the best, just like anyone else, and

2) little kids who are confused and who think that maybe they wanna transition who are getting fed stream of BS and lies about what's possible and not being taught about the downside.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

I also think it’s important that we support well-being of all people without assuming that everyone has the same opinion about what supporting well-being means.  The policy of gender affirmation itself is concerning.  Affirming a child’s newly chosen non-biological gender is inherently dangerous and arguably very damaging.  I don’t think we’ve thought this through as a society.

I agree that an adult who takes on a trans identity has made a more considered commitment, but even then there are limits to what should be supported because of the potential conflict with other rights around privacy, sports, and free speech.

https://mytransgenderdate.com/blog/2022/03/do-transgender-women-get-periods

Theoretically they don't get the bleeding, but they get the cramps and bytcheeness. Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger.

"Scientific" American: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-a-transgender-woman-could-get-pregnant/

https://news.yahoo.com/famous-being-pregnant-man-heres-202541047.html

I'll be honest, I didn't even read ^that^ whole article. If you do, let me know how it turned out. If you Google that Thomas Beatie guy the articles that come up seem to indicate that he had a baby. I just can't bring myself to read about it right now. I have a really bad headache.

Some tenuous stuff there though.  I hadn't considered the hormonal changes resulting in PMS when I mentioned periods, so fair enough, but there's more to a period than that.

As for Beatie, he was born a female, so he had all the plumbing.  The Scientific American article states that "The operation has not been explored in animal trials, let alone in humans. " but it's 9 years old so who knows now.

Lol. So it was a biological female who transitioned to a quasi-male that had the baby. That makes more sense.

Still, the fact that they're saying it was a man that had the baby is out there to confuse children.

Here's another one: https://www.healthline.com/health/transgender/can-men-get-pregnant#TOC_TITLE_HDR_1

Quote

Can Men Get Pregnant?

Quote

Yes, it’s possible for men to become pregnant and give birth to children of their own. In fact, it’s probably a lot more common than you might think.

The article starts off sounding like biological males who have transitioned to female can have babies, because common sense tells us that no one would bother to write an article saying "Yes, people who are born as biological women can have babies". It's like saying "Ducks born in the desert can still swim".

How many kids are gonna pump up their confirmation bias from the title and opening sentence and then just move on? There are adults who do that kind of thing all the time. The truth is never in the top 85% of a CNN article. If it exists at all it's a brief sentence near the very bottom.

And tbh, are those people really "men" if they're having babies? If those women-become-men really want to live as men, they wouldn't be giving birth, right?

These neo-men say "Oooooh, I'm a man now. Never get my pronouns wrong because that's a crime! I'm just gonna pop out a few babies now, because nothing says "I'm a man" like getting knocked up and giving birth."

And for children seeking confirmation bias, who read a little further, there's also this:

Quote

There are also emerging technologies that may make it possible for AMAB individuals to carry a child.

That sounds like "getting pregnant as a woman" too, right? But it isn't the same, at all, because it just says 'carry a child', it doesn't say that "a biological male could produce functioning ovaries which could be fertilized and become a healthy fetus". The best case scenario right now is a male could save some of their sperm from before they transitioned and use it to fertilize a biological female's egg, and then carry it in a manmade womb. But reaching puberty as a male isn't ideal for those who want to transition, so the majority of trans women wouldn't have sperm of their own.

In any event, this is another example of trans propaganda that's very easy to access (P1 of a google search) which gives children false hope about the ability of trans people to procreate.

The article never once mentioned failed surgeries, the possibility of a lifetime of pain, the ongoing procedures required to keep a neo-vagina healthy and 'functioning', etc.

It's a 'blow smoke up your ass' article that's gonna mislead a lot of gender-confused individuals into making a decision that there's a good chance they'll regret later in life, once it's too late to fix.

What are the implications of this reliance on high risk technological intervention?  I wonder what opportunities there are for biotech and pharmaceuticals?  Oh wait, aren’t they the majority of advertising dollars on all mainstream media news?  That could never influence media content, right?

Wow. Indigenous Tranny and MAID all in the same story, I call conservative trigger word Bingo.

I heard she’s also a Muslim abortion provider who illegally immigrated from Mexico after casting an illegal mail-in ballot for Biden in the 2020 election.

TBH I wasn't blaming any of this on Big Pharma, but now that you mention it, it makes total sense.

I wonder what kind of kickbacks a Dr can get in the various countries for getting a child to take gender-reassignment drugs for the rest of their life.

Nope. She has proof that Trump colluded with Russia, the Afghan withdrawal was a smashing success but its insignificant failures were Trump's fault, the vaccine is the only reason that there are still any kids alive today, and Biden is mentally competent, but she's not allowed to tell anyone because it's all part of a global conspiracy to replace cisgender men with AI, vibrators and Ru Paul's frozen sperm. If you put on a wig, maybe you can get the vib and some of that sperm.

No one's judging you ?

So - for those that think that a doctor could be worried more about her pronoun than her medical condition.....

Here we have a typical reaction from people on the left, whether they are professionals or not.  Beaver doesn't want to address the issue... it walks too close to some tribal left wing talking points.  This clearly upsets him.

So rather than contribute - he simply tries to attack everyone else, calling THEM triggered when obviously it's himself who got upset by it.

And he will defend that to the death - rather than have an honest conversation.

If you think left wing idelaists who happen to be doctors are any different...  sorry to burst your bubble but they're people like anyone else.

Im not attacking anyone. Geez where’s your sense of humour.

Personally I don’t care about this one anecdote or the tranny/ pronoun issue in general. Ideology and pronouns has nothing to do with it.

Sounds like the person is mentally/emotionally unstable and was probably just as sure about their “need” for reassignment surgery then as they are about their “need” for MAID now.

I do not have to support anything I am not in favour of or like. I choose who and what I support.

Those, big or little, that are encouraged to do as they wish and regret what they did is not need of support, they should suffer the consequences of their action. If enough see that what they did maybe others that have "mental illness" will see that they should re-think their present desires.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts.

ROFLMAO - sure kiddo.  If i looked as stupid as you do right now, i guess i'd be tempted to lie about it too :)

There's no humour in what you said, just hatred. As always it seems.

Sure there’s humour, conservative trigger word bingo, a Muslim illegal Mexican immigrant abortion provider who illegally voted for Biden, that’s comedy gold! Gold, Jerry!

And now you just admitted to rolling on the floor laughing your ass off too. ?

Naw - just you being hate filled towards conservatives again.  Hate language that has a joke in it is still hate language.  The left has been saying that for decades now.

That's what you call humour?

We're talking about a woman who has lived in pain for so long that she wants to kill herself and you think this is the place to joke about people being triggered by buzzwords?

We're talking about kids being misguided by the very people in our society whom he should trust the most, to the extent that they end up wanting to kill themselves, and you just wanna act like it's a great place for a lame attempt at a joke?

First off, jokes should be funny, especially if they're that dark.
