Nobody wants to do the work, to intervene.

It has to be an alcoholic with the Whiskey again, that I paid for by the way, the party troll or you did not pay for it, so what are you doing? Destroying this thread too?

What is so hard to understand, is either travel parallel with party-qualified man or go perpendicular with the forum, and bring something, when is the last thread you did for this community @ExFlyer

I post when I have something to say and I have. ...unless I run into an !diot and then I defend.

I questioned, politely of a poster and it was over until unnecessary interjection by someone. It takes 2 to tango....you can address him too.

As for your whiskey,  please put it away. You said you would.

You know the reality.

The theory is different than the practical.

Sorry to hear that but, I do understand.  Please try. :)

In the end, you don't dictate to me what to do, or this party troll that probably gets some tax relief to surrender his intelligence here for a Party.

I work brother, and I get paid, not my Grocery Rebates, so I get to drink, sure, there is a risk, but at the end, as I said before, Ted Kennedy was drunk, yet he crushed Romney here:

Whoa, I was not telling, I was commiserating and understand your situation with the drink.

No bone to pick with you.

But understand, it takes 2 to tango and both participants should be noted.

One simple question: bread making is a sure sign of a vibrant basis economy. How come in Canada there's none? What's wrong with this country? Why?

You do realize that the people whining about productivity are the same ones saying "Give us 10 billion dollars or those cars you're making people buy will be made in Mexico" don't you?

Canada has the second least productive economy in the  G7 after Japan. Maybe it would be wise to figure out why.

It would, but we know most of the answer to that.

There is a serious lack of investment into the things and the tech that make people more productive Businesses just aren't putting their money into canada and improving their game.

Then there's the unions. Even as we speak the strike at the port of Vancouver involves "no automation" as one of the bargaining issues. In other words the union deliberately WANTS people to be less efficient so you need more people.

Interestingly enough - productivity shot up during covid. Now - part of that is that the "least productive" people such as watresses and the like who produce the least value for their time in our economy were sent home, and most of the remaining people are more productive.  Remember - productive doesn't mean they don't work hard - it's a measure of how much money or value they create per hour of work. SO if a lawyer stays working during covid and a waitress goes home, average productivity goes up.

But i think a lot of it was also more people working from home. That is a HUGE productivity boost for many industries.  Which says something about our offices and business structure.

Why must you constantly lie to try to make your point? How is a lawyer working in his own practice 'earning for someone else'?   You know slavery was banned right?

Ohhh that's right tho -  you're one of those losers who believes that someone who gets fairly paid for the work they do is being "exploited" by the "corporate elites'.   Forgetting like many that some of hte biggest owners of those corporations are pension funds.  Yeah - those "evil" teachers sucking the working man dry so they can have their fat cat pensions - what terrible people.

This is why people have no respect for you.

Actually, tons of protests. Because BLM sprang up to burn down the world because a lifelong junkie and violent criminal died when police were trying to arrest him in some city almost no one had ever or will ever go to and many had never even heard about.

Okay, fair point about that being during the pandemic, but can you not see the inherent problem of a protest against the pandemic measures meant to prevent large groups of people from spreading illness?  You really see these as direct parallels, especially in Canada?

What you mean to say is we are transitioning to a poorer economy with a lot more poverty and joblessness.

No, I mean that vehicles and power generation are moving away from fossil fuels whether you like it or not, and when the tech and production methods are scaled/matured, legacy industries relying on them will be caught with their pants down and left behind.

Left behind? With the hundred and fifty odd nations that are happily burning coal for energy and building more coal power plants?

Yes, because when their cities sink under the seas, or their rivers dry up, coal won't seem like such a great idea anymore, and we'll be the ones with the means to adapt to a changing climate, not them.

And who has respect for you?

Pretty much everyone!  - the only ones who don't are people who get butt hurt when they're shown to be wrong and drunk Russians ;)

CONTRARIAN recently read a book which explained how alcoholism can make you stupid, violent and ruin your reputation.  So he's decided that's it - no more reading.
