The truth is, the amount a job pays is not reflected in how difficult the job is.

It's reflected in the skill necessary. That's why brain surgeons get paid more than ditch diggers.  The 'effort' isn't really the determining factor as you say but skill is.

And that's why 20 percent of the people will always earn 80 percent of the money in the workforce.

The good news is that people's skills TEND to improve over time. You start minimum wage at 7/11 - you work hard and are reliable, and you wind up being a manager. THen you look around and there's other places that need managers, you improve your job situation again. Pretty soon you're well into middle class.

But this is why i told you before that the solution to ending poverty is to provide skill improvement opportunities and lots and lots of different 'Ladders' so that people can find one they like and are good at.

Pretty much is. It sure ain't closed, no matter how much cnn pretends it's not an issue ;)

Secondly, the two parties are pretty much the same when it comes to immigration. That's why immigration has been consistently increasing regardless of who the president is.

True enough, but that's largely because the dems hold the republicans back on that issue.

It's kind of like saying gun laws haven't changed so the dems are the same as the republicans in policy. Well.... no....

Thanks for confirming your ARROGANT IGNORANCE, AGAIN.

You misspelled "experience" and 'logic".  You also left out sanity.  But - lets face it we don't expect much from you :)

It's hard not to be a LITTLE arrogant in the face of your level of stupidity. Step it up a bit and i'll see what i can do.

Yeah - real common in remote communities LOLOL

See - that right there is why people are arrogant with you :)  You've GOT to be less stupid if you want to be taken seriously.

But this is what the establishment wants, so I guess in that sense, capitalism has succeeded.

The truth is, the amount a job pays is not reflected in how difficult the job is. Wages are kept low so that the rich have a permanent under-class that they can extract labor from.

Do you know who's part of the permanent under-class? Black people who were made to believe that getting an education is a waste of time for them because they won't be hired. Black people who believe that they won't get hired due to racism, so they feel like crime is a legitimate option.

It's the Dems who force-feed that message to black kids. That's precisely what Obama did when he insinuated that Trayvon was killed just because he was black. It's what the Dems/CNN/BLM did when they pretended that M Brown was a gentle giant who was murdered by a racist pig from a hive of racist pigs.

You take your marching orders from some of the most vile groups in NA.

The border is open.

Even if you don't know that you're lying, everyone else does.

This might be the craziest statement made on here in some time.

People can try to enter the US through legal channels, or illegal ways.

Migrant border crossings in fiscal year 2022 topped 2.76 million, breaking previous record (nbcnews.com)

There is no disincentive for those millions to stop trying to cross the southern border. It's not fair to those that have done it the legal way. And many of those people are at a big disadvantage if they don't have easy access to the southern border.

Ensuring that the voting process is more secure is not voter suppression.

So I know the Republicans use the term "open borders" the second we get a Democrat president, but the term actually refers to a system where anyone who asks to be let in is let in. We don't have that system. The majority of immigrants are still being turned away.

Also, the amount of immigrants that America accepts has consistently increased regardless of who the president is. If you're looking for a party who is going to keep out brown people, sorry, but neither party wants that.

The GOP Can’t Beat Gen Z, but It Can Stifle Its Vote

Quote

Republicans in state legislatures are working around the clock to make it harder for students to vote. With a presidential election on the horizon, Republicans are hyper-aware of Gen Z’s voting power. Although young voters in past elections have been inconsistent, Gen Z in the last midterm election put Republicans on notice. And since the GOP can’t win young voters on the issues they care about, so voter suppression strategies used for decades to suppress minority voters are now being copied and pasted to suppress Gen Z voting.

But, if members of Gen Z continue to exercise their democratic rights with the same zeal they demonstrated in 2020 and 2022, those politicians who support voter suppression laws will soon be kicked to the curb. The future belongs to Gen Z, sooner than later.
