Hmm, let me see. I did some tests with the OpenAI chat bot and here are a few things I noted.

- Frequently made incorrect or completely false statements.
- Frequently invented information that was fictitious.
- Could not substantiate claims with verifiable links
- Frequently gave fake references.
- Got confused quickly and would make pre-packaged statements that it was told to say when things go wrong.
- Didn't make sense.

So yeah, there is a very good likelihood we have some professional liar bots here.

In the 60 minutes link I posted, the people being interviewed seem to indicate the AI is not programmed to lie but to use all info gathered to compose what is asked.

The issue is AI ability to mimic human thought process making is virtually undetectable.
