Is Biden leading the US to World War III?

Recommended Posts

Another story, guys
United States aid to Ukraine will cost the world dearly — Biden is leading the country to World War III
To be honest I don't know how to take this information in.

Quote

In addition, according to unconfirmed information at the moment, the White House is going to prevent a potential meeting between Biden and Putin at the upcoming G20 summit, justifying this with media considerations – allegedly the US president should not be captured in the same photo with a "murderer and a war criminal." Amazing, isn't it? The heads of State have the best opportunity to discuss all the pressing issues, especially at a time when the world is on the verge of irreparable events that can still be prevented. And at this time, the leader of the most powerful country in the world will hide from the cameras, fearing the possibility of being in the same frame with Putin? It even sounds ridiculous; it's hard to imagine that such a thing can really happen.

Really? But you can fly all the way to Saudi Arabia to talk with mad dictator who was accused with killing your own citizens :)

First, Biden should be in prison for this little item.

Secondly, the last time the world was brought so close to a massive nuclear exchange was due to the incompetence and inaction of Jimmy Carter. His failure in the Iran hostage incident emboldened the Soviet Union to march into Afghanistan and DARE us to do anything about it.

And Carter was RONALD REAGAN compared to the senile, unelected idiot we have in the White House today. You'd think America would learn from history. We are now closer than ever to that dreaded event, simply because this unelected idiot could stumble on to the nuclear codes and order the launch independently.

The cost of not aiding Ukraine would be way worse. That would lead to the Third World War.

If Ukraine loses this war, it will be Americans, Canadians, and the rest of NATO fighting Russia. How do we forget the lessons of 1937 - 1939. Of course if Russia attacks a NATO country, it will be a short  nuclear war, probably about a day and a half.

The morality of this war is no different than if the US invaded Canada. The difference would be an American invasion of Canada would last 20 years and be far bloodier.

Ukraine has already lost those eastern provinces. Aside from 'well it happed 100 years ago with Germany' what real evidence do you have that Russia will attack any NATO nation unprovoked?

Any?

The best response to a bully is to punch him in the nose. Hitler and Putin are cut from the same cloth. Give in now and they will come back for more.

With enough support from us, Ukraine can regain it's territory.

Even if Russia has no further territorial demands, they have no right to take over another country. It is no different than if the US invaded Canada. However, Putin wants to fool people into thinking he is a big man who will restore Soviet tyranny over it's former enslaved countries.

What has that got to do with the topic? Russia invaded it's neighbour in an unprovoked attack. What has that got to do with Nazis

How many Nazis are too many for you? You didn't say...

It is the optics of the kind of message it sends when any public meeting would lend legitimacy to President Putin's actions in violating Ukraine's sovereignty. If they need to talk, they can use the phone in private, but it is important to maintain Ukraine's war effort. If the Ukraine loses this fight, we will be fighting Russia next and I doubt many people will survive that.

I didn't say because it as nothing to do with the topic. President Putin is a bad man, a corrupt kleptocrat, but he is not a Nazi. I don't know what the heck you are talking about.

So your position is that the Azov simply does not exist. Either that or you're just a bird of a feather. Does Marche Erika send a thrill up your old spine?

I don't put any faith into Russian propoganda. We have people like that in the Canadian Forces. We try to weed them out but if the Americans invaded Canada, I would hope we would allow Proud Boys and their ilk to fight. Tha Americans have their own versions of the Proud Boys and a lot more of them.

Are you suggesting the Ukraine should discourage anyone willing to fight the Russians because of their politics? Or are you willing to see a repeat of the Holodomor, and the war expanding into World War 3. We made that mistake in 1938.

That is like asking how many communists are too much for you when they were spilling their blood on the eastern Front. Because we did not stand up to Hitler when he marched into the Rhineland and then Czechoslovakia, we had to ally with Stalin, or we would have lost World War 2.

If the Russians win in the Ukraine, they will not stop there. We will end up with a nuclear exchange that will kill 90% of the earth's population and God will sort out the Nazis. Is that what you want?

I don't know if there are any "Nazis" fighting for Ukraine's freedom. I know that the misinformation factory in Russia says there are, but how are they a threat to Russia with its nuclear weapons, 9500 remaining tanks and a reserve force of over a million troops. If there are some Nazis, in the Ukraine, why didn't Russian let the Ukraine deal with them? You are sayinf that because Canada has some wannabee Nazis in the Canadian Armed Forces, the USA has a right to invade us again? While it is illegal to distribute hate speech in Canada, it is not illegal to be a Nazi or a communist or a member of the Social Credit Party.  So the Ukraine may have it's Nazis and we have Social Credit. I presume, since you are from BC, you are familiar with the Socreds. Are you saying the Americans should invade Canada because we have the Social Credit Party in Canada?

The US and the rest of NATO understand that the best way to avoid a nuclear holocaust is to give the Ukraine the tools to push Russia out. We, along with Russia, ironically, guaranteed Ukrainian sovereignty in exchange for them giving up their nuclear weapons. We owe it to them to honour that commitment.

A big steaming pile of the logical fallacy known as 'the excluded middle'. Also known as 'false dichotomy'. What I do know about you now is that the number of Nazis that you'll support isn't zero. Some Nazis are okay with you...and I'm not sure how that makes me feel. You're not to be trusted around insecticide, perhaps.

So, you would deny a person's right to their constitutional right to their political beliefs. You are saying anyone subscribing to Anton Drexler's stupid 25 points that are the foundation of the National Socialist German Workers' Party should lose their rights? Everyone has rights, even stupid people. Q anon, Proud Boys, Social Credit, Communists and Nazis have their right to belief stupid things. As long as they do not engage in hate speech in Canada or violate other peoples rights and obey the law, I will defend their right to be stupid. If we fail to do that, who is next? Social Credit? The Saskatchewan Party? The NDP?The Grits? The Tories?
