It is not Russia's business. If former President Trump had been legally elected, I doubt President Putin would have hesitated to invade Ukraine. Putin perceived President Trump to be a buffoon. He may have hated Secretary Clinton but he just laughed at President Trump. By assisting the Ukraine in standing up to Russia, it demonstrates NATO's resolve against Russian aggression. We cannot afford to make the same mistake we made in 1938. If we fail the Ukraine, Canadians and our allies will be fighting the Russians in Poland, Latvia, Estonia, etc. Ask yourself why did all of the former Warsaw Pact enslaved nations clamour to join NATO as soon as the Russian yoke was lifted.
