I have no problem if accounts of criminals blockading the border and illegally occupying Ottawa were frozen.  Wish they would give as much attention to the criminals who are committing illegal acts daily in cities in B.C. and being arrested and released right away countless times.  One guy smashed a store owner's window with a sledge hammer, was arrested, and sentenced to ONE DAY in prison and a year's probation.  Some of them have been arrested dozens and even hundreds of times and never spent any real time in prison.  What a farce!

The NDP in answer to mayors of cities in B.C.'s concerns, said they appointed someone to study the crime issue for four months.  There you have it.  The complete uselessness of the BC NDP.   I can almost guarantee that the BC NDP will not last past the next election.  Unfortunately that is not for several more long years of criminals ruining the life of law-abiding citizens.

You can see some of the light sentences given out for assault at this website:

Assault (Sentencing Cases) - Criminal Law Notebook (criminalnotebook.ca)

Yet you have no problem with Trudeau's actions.

Roll over much?

1. I thought you said it WASN'T a democracy ?  I think it is one so I'll be at home watching you get arrested on a rando YouTube channel.

2. One from the grave....

3. What is your point ?  You are the one saying it's a dictatorship.  If I thought we were living under a dictator I wouldn't be posting on a web board and fighting with strangers about it.  You expect me to bail you out of your delusions ?  Sounds like socialism to me - git 'er done yourself...

You're very wrong. Until very recently you could post to an obscure board in Russia almost anything. Obviously it's no proof of a dictatorship or absence of it. Peaceful protest of citizens is; as is unreasonable persecution of it.

Putin has 90% democratic" support and try to beat that, no you can't. According to you that gives him full democratic" power to pursue and persecute his (real, genuine opposed to useless and meaningless - he has those too) opponents in any way he likes. Through a buddy-buddy quasi independent justice systems (look at Canadian courts, in the matters of gross government overreach and protecting citizens rights and liberty). And he has hand-run (quasi-independent) media too. No can't beat that. Congrats - you have arrived.

And didn't even notice. And wasn't even interested to.

Well - are you saying you can't now ?  That seems to be proof of something.  And they disappear people in Russia too.

In any case, that's all besides the point: YOU believe you are in a dictatorship.  Your plan of action seems to hinge on convincing me that we're in one too.

I'm saying I would be more likely to take action if I thought we were in a dictatorship.  But maybe there's some strategy behind convincing me that I don't get.

Oh? Please Sir. Do explain.

Your response to being in a dictatorship is to convince the mighty Hardner it is so.  Weak.

What are your plans off-board ?  Are you protesting ?  Organizing ?  What ?

Have you ever taken place in a protest or demonstration ?  Asking sincerely.

Nah, you are putting words in my mouth because you want to have some debate with me that isn't going to happen.  I didn't post about Russia.

YOU think we are in a dictatorship.  So do something about it.

You're not convincing me, based on your weak logic so far.

Yeah, I get it - I asked 3 questions and you din't respond.

You are ok with dictatorship.  I don't think we are in one, and rely on state security to contain terrorists.

I recommend you google "clues" and see if you can click on one...

I recommend you answer my initial question but...I won't hold my breath.

It must be taxing...to be constantly playing mental gymnastics in order to support your beloved status quo...

No and no.  You are the one who thinks there should be a fight and yet you are on here instead of actually doing something.

How about my questions now ?

And how would you know what I'm doing and not doing? Fact is, I was at the Toronto protests in support of the Truckers. Do I think there "should" be a physical fight? No. Do I think I'd participate should said physical fight happen? Yes. I will fight for my nation's freedom.

You won't though and i don't even have to ask.

I won't even try, it's hopeless. Even direct in your face experience does not convince people like you. And no I didn't not say we are in a dictatorship - only that it is realistically possible and there are no effective guards or restraints against it, just none, if there were any ever. The only reason we enjoy this say-so democracy is because the ruling elites believe it's to their benefit to go by the rituals (not in any essence though - as confirmed by unprecedented Covid scare propaganda, war measures against peaceful protest, etc). The moment there's a reason for them to change their minds there's nothing, just nada to stop them. "Independent" Attorney General / party exec; GG appointed by the same hands this isn't even funny. An instant collapse of a facade cardboard system like Venezuela, Russia etc.

People's accounts were frozen for giving small donations to the Freedom Convoy. That's not a crime at all.

Rebel News reporters often end up on the ground for getting too close to Trudeau, and by "too close" I mean 5x as far away as other reporters. It's not a crime for Rebel News reporters to cover the PM.

This country doesn't resemble a free democracy and people like you are encouraging its downfall.

1.  That is why I asked.  Thank you for answering and good for you for backing up your convictions.

2.  Ok.

3. Again, you put words in my mouth.  Of course I would take action against a dictatorship.

Here's a hint, based on how I just responded to you:

1. You said you didn't think there should be a 'fight'.
2. I thought... that's weird - he seems to think we are in a dictatorship so why would Nationalist be so complacent
3. I took 2 minutes to search your posts for 'dictatorship' 'Trudeau is' and so on and found that in fact you have NOT stated that we are in a dictatorship, although perhaps on a path to oe.
4. Having educated myself as to your position, I replied to 1. and 2. to acknowledge that your points made sense to me.

My two cents.  Have a great day and thank you for posting on MapleLeafWeb

We're edging towards a dictatorship, for certain, that's why the bank accounts of dissidents were frozen by our fascist gov.  You can't buy food here if you don't fall in line and obey.

This site is a small fry, people can still post here, but the gov't is working to shut that down. They call anything that conflicts with their propaganda "disinformation"
