Mapleleafweb is history?

Yes, the name is officially retired.

Isn't this one a bit generic? Nothing identifies it as being Canadian centred...

I think that the new name is better...

Why?

Canadian centred.

Is that a desirable trait?

The name “Maple Leaf Web” says nothing about politics, repolitics is more descriptive than MLW.

I have no problem with a Canadian off-centered forum.

We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society.

Well we're all obsessed with Trump so. . . . ?

Only some of us. The ones who wish desperately they were Americans.

Not sure...

The word 'web' has fallen out of use.

We're not exactly focused on Canadian politics.

It's brief and catchy.

If it comes to that we're not exactly focused on politics. Most of the topics are unrelated to politics.

Though admittedly, the political topics are the ones with by far the most postings.

'All threads are mixed up. No separation of categories. I keep on getting the disturbing message lately "Do you hold Gold in your Portfolio" which at the bottom of my screen which blocks my read. Not amused.

Can you be more specific?

I haven't noticed any issues with the forum categories - has anyone else?

I've turned that type of ad format off, you should not see these types of ads anymore.

Yes before we had categories like Federal politics (threads related were under this category), provincial politics (threads related say to Ontario were under this category), Local politics (threads related to say Toronto were under this category), International politics ........ but now there are no categories anymore and all the threads are in one place mixed up so it is very hard to locate a specific thread.

It sounds to me like you've accidentally switched the forum layout to "fluid" rather than "table". Please review the screencap below:

If you have the fluid button selected (red arrow), please select the table button (green arrow) and the forums should be presented in the format you mentioned above.

Give that a try!

Yes yes thank you very much. I thought it is the move to new server that caused it but everything is back to normal now.

No problem, this is one of those things that can be difficult to figure out if you're not already familiar with the views functionality.
