Epic fail dude. You literally have no clue what is going on.

The WHO gave THE WORST ADVICE POSSIBLE to the entire world. Are you disputing that?

The topic is: should they be defunded, pending the result of an investigation into why they gave multiple instances of the worst advice, all of which would give an extreme boost to the spread of the virus? Do you get it?

Answer this Zeitgeist: IF THE WHO WANTED TO SPREAD THE PANDEMIC AS FAR AND WIDE AS POSSIBLE, WHAT WOULD THEY HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY?

If your answer is "Not much", then you are acknowledging that an investigation is in order. But I'd love to see your answer.

Really, you think increasing font size makes you more persuasive?  This is mostly about the Trump administration blaming its failings on others.  China fucked up, but China and the WHO aren’t the same thing.  If the US is no longer the dominant influence there, that speaks to changes in power and influence internationally.  It’s worth considering why that is happening.  I think some of it was inevitable but also that some of it is because the US administration appear like self-interested blowhards who don’t have the world’s best interests at heart, so they’ve lost moral political currency internationally, but that’s another debate.

Defunding the WHO is shooting yourself in the foot, but go for it. Firing people, pointing fingers, and stripping funding can only distract from dubious leadership for so long.  I don’t even think It has to be so bad for Trump if he’d just keep it fact-based.

Disfunction and bias at the WHO predates Trump by many years...some here refuse to even acknowledge that.   Trump's decision could/should have been made with or without a COVID19 pandemic.    Trump is doing exactly what he has done before with international organizations that are not aligned with his goals and ideology of "America First".

How’s that working for him on the C-19 file?

About the same for many other western nations....they got their money's worth from the WHO too, right ?

$500 million for the opportunity to get a few American janitors on the payroll?  Sounds like a pretty good deal alright.

I am sure they still make more than the Canadian bobo who denied that Taiwan exists.

Probably also worth more than the American bobo who licks China's spittle.

They'll catch up to that demand eventually. Then what?

Then everyone will be wearing masks when they leave the house and go shopping, despite what the WHO says, because people aren't stupid and they don't want to die.

Many Americans are getting worried that Trump will not relinquish power voluntarily, even if he does lose an election.

And how is he going to do that?  He's not a 3rd world dictator that has corrupt control of the military in his back pocket.

Bill Gates pointed out today that the country with the deepest connections to WHO is the US, via such organizations as CDC. Trump is a divider, not a uniter, and that’s the wrong sort of person to have in charge of the US during a global crisis. He can’t bring his own nation together, let alone the world.

The Gates Foundation is the 2nd largest donor....big connection.

Trump is not responsible for bringing the world together.    He is not the leader of the world.

He was elected to tear down the globalist institutions that led to the current state of things for the U.S.

Not everyone, just as many will simply stay home and do their shopping from there because they aren't stupid and don't want to be killed.

He's a right-winger with roughly 160 million of the stupidest most powerfully weaponized people on the face the planet's with their heads all pushed up his ass.  Easy peasy.

That doesn't even make any sense.   Trump only got 66 million votes in 2016.

A Canadian prime minister with a ruling majority has more unchecked political power than any U.S. president.

Except no one sticks their heads up our rulers arse the way you guys do and our PM's don't have a bunch of armed stupefied yahoos to call on like your Prez's do.

No I don't know what you mean...neither Trump or Clinton came anywhere near half of all eligible American voters.

It is Canada's government(s) that have begged the U.S. to protect the "post WW2 order".    Canada consumes copious amounts of Americana by choice....maybe something is lacking at home ?

Yes we do consume and produce Americana.  Canadiana too.  You don’t necessarily have to put so much into your military to protect it, but don’t sabotage it either, unless you want to take your marching orders from Beijing.

Well, Canada certainly doesn't follow that advice for its own military.

China is an ascendant power, and will have more and more influence.    Canada cannot continue to hide behind the United States...Trump or no Trump.

Seems we need to be more independent not only because of Chinese interference but American unpredictability.  Varying trade and becoming more self-reliant have to be the new mantras.

Begging Trump to keep funding the WHO as largest donor is the opposite of that.

We agree that Canada should be far less reliant and dependent on the U.S. economy and foreign policy.

This was true long before Trump came along...he just made it abundantly obvious.

Just continue to pay your fair share of WHO funding.  Defunding it is reckless.

No....Trump wanted to get the world's attention about the disfunctional WHO...and I think it has worked.

Trump was elected to be reckless.

Oh c'mon, like I'm the only one who's openly wondering if Trump will follow his instincts and sense of absolute power to its ridiculous conclusion.  You honestly expect us to believe you'll lift a finger to stop him or have we finally found the line even you're not willing to cross for this bozo?
