I don't know if this is legit or not, it's going around FB.

CBC, Global, Rebel News and CTV aren't reporting on this, and I don't know if these are fake sites or not:

https://www.canadapolicereport.ca/2020/03/27/threats-and-incitement-of-hatred-against-prime-minister-and-general-population-arrest-of-an-individual-in-hemmingford-quebec/

I'm not fluent in french but theoretically he says something about an axe.

If this is legit, what's a realistic penalty for this?

The people who flew to Syria to commit genocide and to force young girls and women into rape-slavery have been sentenced to poetry lessons. Should a person who made a FB threat face a more serious penalty?

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Yeah.  Threatening to chop someone into pieces is considered a more serious crimes than flying to another country to join a foreign army.

It's ok that you come in here to ask us these things, btw.

It's not more serious than committing genocide and forcing young girls and women into rape-slavery, though.

Just so we're clear on that.

Yes, I already knew that.  But thanks for your superfluous observations.

He's is definitely going to have to take some of those liberal snowflake poetry classes perhaps as a good measure the arts class as well. Atleast he still be able to vote ...

Why would you want to enjoy florist fires? These are hard enough economic times.

Life is all the sweeter on the two way range in mortal peril, a bear market is nothing to fear, circle like a vulture to feed on the carnage.

Unless you own a business and are all-in.

I am a business and I am all in.   But it's a competition.   There will be winners & losers in any war, but I am not my competitions keeper.

A “foreign army”? Is going abroad to be a bigot, commit genocide, drown people, immolate them, torture people and force women and young girls into rape slavery the same as defending France from the Nazis? Are thise two things even comparable?

That is completely disgusting. You are a really sick puppy.

Legit or not - will there be more stories like this?

Could  this be a prelude - or part of the groundwork being laid - to the justification of an eventual declaration of martial law?

Martial law was declared before by Pierre Trudeau:

Prime Minister Trudeau Proclaims Martial Law, Raids Quebec Separatists

https://www.thecrimson.com/article/1970/10/17/prime-minister-trudeau-proclaims-martial-law/

A crisis can be turned into a justifiable reason.  That's usually how it all begins.

That controversial bill that Trudeau had tried to include in that emergency relief package is worrisome.   It would've given him sweeping powers.

There could be more to the US plan to put troops along the border than meets the eye.  Perhaps, it has nothing to do with coronavirus - maybe, partly.  Perhaps, it's about the ideology at play with our socialist-leaning government (bolstered by socialist / socialist-leaning  parties)?

Perhaps, the USA is just sending a strong message?  Just in case?

Conspiracy theories are so rampant and ripe at a time of crisis - especially so when one is self-isolated,  and has so much time on one's hand  to spend thinking. :)  What more......... when one's reading staple these days, are political thrillers!  "What if".....is always burning at the back burners.

Yes, Snr did talk tough in front of the media, but in the end the FLQ leaders were boarded onto a military 707 and flown to a country of their chioce, and years later some of them would return to Canada. It was a massive failure on the liberals , the terrorist involved did very little time in prison for their crimes, and now live across the country... just in case your wondering where Justin got his love for terrorist....

By 1982, all the convicted participants had been paroled, and all of those sent to Cuba had returned to Canada, some completing short sentences in Canada.

In 1988, the War Measures Act was replaced by the Emergencies Act and the Emergency Preparedness Act.
