GostHacked
https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/20/us/pennsylvania-school-lunch-debt-trnd/index.html Quote (CNN)The Wyoming Valley West School District in Pennsylvania sent out hundreds of letters this week telling parents who had lunch debt to pay or their children could go into foster care. The letter, which was reviewed by CNN, told parents that there have been "multiple letters sent home with your child" and that no payments had been made. "Your child has been sent to school every day without money and without a breakfast and/or lunch," the letter read. It also said failure to provide children with food could result in parents being sent to Dependency Court. "If you are taken to Dependency court, the result may be your child being removed from your home and placed in foster care," the letter read. Parents used to pack lunches for their kids. Now with many stupid restrictions regarding allergies and such, forcing parents to pay for the lunches offered by the schools which would probably cost more and be less healthy for the kids. But sending their kids to foster care if they can't pay up? All over 450 dollars? In perspective banksters in 2008 were able to crash the economy sending more people below the poverty line and out of their own homes. Something is wrong with the system. Quote Joseph Muth, the director of federal programs for the school district, was identified by WNEP as the man who wrote the letter. Muth told the affiliate the letter was a "last resort" and that the district is owed more than $22,000 by roughly 1,000 students. Four accounts show parents owe more than $450 each, WNEP reported. Muth also told the affiliate the school district was considering serving students with delinquent accounts peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Terrible. Quote Joanne Van Saun, who runs the local agency, told CNN on Saturday she feels her agency was weaponized to threaten families. "We exist to protect and preserve families. The only time a child is taken out is when they cannot be maintained safely in their home," she said. "Our agency has helped many children and families with paying rent and buying clothes. We know children do better when they're with their families." Seems like the system is designed to keep people down. Quote Families' inability to pay for school lunches is becoming an increasing problem. Of the school districts with unpaid student meal debt, 40.2% said the number of students without adequate funds increased last school year, according to the School Nutrition Association. OftenWrong
There is no mechanism to assign kids to foster care because of financial debt. The system doesn't work that way.
Shady
Also, bankers didn’t crash the economy. The government did, through terrible mortgage policies they forced on lenders and participated in themselves.

And the Liberals made it easier for individuals to get trapped in a debt scheme for a first house in their latest budget. What a bunch of dicks. Some people are very impulsive and measures to let people take a path which will eventually kill their and our finances isn't something we should encourage. Justin Trudeau, with the temptation of an easier loan to get, may indirectly cause many thousands of individual defaults of payment, and many broken homes, lives, and suicides will be caused by this measure to let people get access to the credit trap, to maintain an already artificial house market, which bubble will explode any time soon. Collateral Debt Obligations are useful hedges, but if everybody has a debt swap with everybody and some start to default, that cascades into a full on panic. Bear in mind tho, in 2008, the debt exceeded GDP by 20%. and that was enough to grind things to a complete halt. After a decade of government policy stimulus "Quantitative Easing", debt now exceeds GDP by 400%
