And only a few years ago it would have been unthinkable they would make it so far. She also got 34.4% of the vote, which is not that far below what winning political parties get in Canada. And they now go into parliamentary elections where there will not be just two candidates on the ballots. Also remember that Macron represented something new and different himself, the first presidential candidate in the final round not from one of the established parties. Hopefully people will get pissed off at foreign governments messing with their elections and these hacks well end up having the opposite of their intended effect.
