socialist Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Some are trying to soften the impact of the lie. I have a problem when someone's instinct is to lie or exaggerate where it's totally unnecessary. A truthful narrative would be that he moved from underclass to neurosurgeon. Full stop. No need for exaggerated or made-up stories about stabbings, rock-throwing or West Point. I find this deeply troubling. “There is no nation on earth powerful enough to accomplish our overthrow. Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter; from the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence…” ~Daniel Webster Most Americans do not realize that Marxists have taken over the Democratic Party in the last 15 years and that their party is now essentially a Marxist/Communist party. There is no appreciable difference between the Communist Party platform now or the Democratic Socialists of America and the Democratic Party. Look at, Andre Carson, you know on the Intelligence Committee, here’s a man with known Muslim Brotherhood ties and Marxist ties. There are really few surprises out there like Tammy Baldwin, the Senator from Wisconsin. She’s a longtime supporter of a Columbian support network which supports Columbia’s Marxist/Leninist Guerillas and she has used her position and your congress on several occasions to try and get U.S. Military aid cut off to the Columbian Military to basically benefit the Marxist/Leninist Guerillas. Judy Chu from California, long time links with Communist Worker’s Party, pro-Chinese Maoist outfit. She served on Obama’s re-election committee. The list goes on and will be revealed in an upcoming documentary . It’s going to be an expose of how 20,000 Marxists in this country took over the Unions such as the AFL-CIO in the 90’s, which in turn took over the Democratic Party to dictate it’s policies which rule the lives of 320 million Americans. And most Americans have no concept of what’s happening. Look for The Enemies Within, coming soon. Quote Thankful to have become a free thinker.

It's from the mainstream of the Democrat and Republican parties, and the people don't give a rip that they're controlled by corporations and corporate lobbies with a dose of just stupid plain policy-making. The 2008 financial crisis and all the trillions thrown at the disaster that is the middle east is the result. Can't wait until democratic socialist Bernie Sanders starts being accused of being a "Marxist". He's the only damned hope the country has. But hey this is a country that elected George W. Moonlight Graham Posted November 12, 2015 Author Report Posted November 12, 2015 I don't understand how you can be both a neurosurgeon and a creationist. Bonam Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) I don't understand how you can be both a neurosurgeon and a creationist. How do you figure out the complexities of the human brain but then think the world/universe is only a few thousand years old. You don't have to "figure out the complexities of the human brain" to be a neurosurgeon. To be a neuroscientist, yes, but not a neurosurgeon. To be a neurosurgeon you just have to be handy with a scalpel, able to memorize some diagrams, and able to maintain a high level of attention and focus for prolonged periods under stressful conditions. Edited November 12, 2015 by Bonam Quote
kimmy Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 A couple of points. First off, as Bonam points out, these topics aren't directly related to Dr Carson's job. Understanding the origins of life on earth, or even understanding the evolution of the human brain, isn't a prerequisite to understanding the human brain. Understanding the Great Pyramids certainly isn't a prerequisite to understanding the human brain. I'm sure there are many electronics technicians who have no clue what's going on inside a transistor at the atomic level, yet are perfectly capable of repairing electronic devices. An auto mechanic doesn't need to have any particular knowledge of fluid dynamics to repair your automatic transmission. And it's worth mentioning that Sir Isaac Newton, one of the greatest minds in history, was also an avid enthusiast of alchemy, the occult, and more. And William Shockley, the leader of the team that invented the transistor (which probably ranks close behind fire and the wheel on the list of Most Important Inventions Ever) quit the semiconductor business so that he could pursue his real passion: crazy-ass theories regarding race, genetics, and eugenics. The point being that just as Isaac Newton's brilliance in the fields of math and physics didn't translate into him transmuting lead into gold, Dr Carson's accomplishments in the field of medicine don't particularly make him a qualified Egyptologist, or a qualified President either. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

kimmy Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 To me, the disturbing part isn't that Dr Carson has an alternative theory about the pyramids. I'm sure we've all had silly theories at some time or another, right? To me the disturbing part is that Dr Carson believes that his theory-- which is based on nothing more than his own speculation and his own interpretation of some lines from the Bible-- is *better* than the theories of people who have actually studied the history, studied the structures themselves, been inside the structures, and say point blank that there's no way these are granaries. The usual Republican line is "hey, I'm not a scientist, so I'm not going to comment on that." Dr Carson's line is apparently "hey, I'm not a scientist, but I'm smarter than those guys, so I'm going to comment on that anyway." -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
