When I first read this post about three hours ago there was a newspaper clipping from the Mississauga News embedded in the OP that basically verified the story. So like who removed the article and why? There should be some clarifications made about what is allowed and what is not, Otherwise people will just assume the moderator is pro-Harper and deletes anything that is not convenient for the Harper clause.

So because the news clipping was removed you got two users now claiming it is a lie. If you are truly running an objective forum here then either ban posting all images or define what is permissable please. Here is the newsclipping that someone decided to remove from the OP which is a tad unethical imo. https://bruceslawsoc...5/06/img145.jpg

Yes, I also found many posts all over the internet as well and this one has enough court documents in it that supports these events did overlap on both Martin and Harper. The group began their project when Harper was at the helm, but it appears the visas were denied by Harper, and maybe he had good reasons to deny them. But he really should step up and explain those reasons.

So specifically which of the below are okay to post and which are not?

1. News archives
2. Photographs used as evidence
3. Scans of court documents
4. Photographs of people
5. Unedited transcripts
6. Videos (if so what are restrictions)

I guess I should tell you now that I work for Canadian Press and Reuters as a stringer and I have been visiting twelve different forums in the U.S. and Canada to rate their objectivity and quality of debate for a an article I am writing on "Politiccal Propaganda & Media" and even though I personally have been observing MapleLeafWeb for three months, I never had reason to actually comment before.

Although it easy for me to see that this forum is leaning heavily in favor of Harper, I would hope that you all make allowances for opposing points of view and not just rely on bitter insults and name-calling - or deleting evidence like the newspaper article above.

People can agree to disagree without calling each other liars and impartial mods truly need to be impartial for politcial forums to have any credibility. My sermon is over, and should you decide to ban or block me, that will be duly noted as well. I too happen to support Harper, but that support is marginal at this time. For my research I keep screen capture files to document my findings. This forum has some very intelligent and interesting users with only two "moles" as far as I can tell. Sit back and monitor a forum for 3 months and it's better than cable my friends!

Could someone PM me with the email of the Admin so I can arrange an interview? Thanks much all.

Note to Mr. Hardner: I would suggest that in the interests of ethics you replace the news article in the OP that was removed unless you confirm that all news articles are off-limit for the forum?

It was deleted because it is repetitive.

There should be some clarifications made about what is allowed and what is not,

You can not repeat the same thing over and over again in this forum. That is trolling here.

Trolling is not allowed.

Otherwise people will just assume the moderator is pro-Harper and deletes anything that is not convenient for the Harper clause.

That is not true and we really do not care what accusations of bias are levelled at moderator staff. We get them from every angle.

We do not have time for a meeting of the flat earth society.

True, but what is classified as trolling is arbitrary.

He's right in this case for sure... there are 4 or 5 different threads all actually relating to the same subject using the same links.

That's not trolling. It's spamming.

Of course.

Add "posting the same thing over and over again" to that list.

Man creates thread, by any measure, thread is nonsense.

Moderator adjusts thread, man complains, man accuses moderator of behaving like this is Nazi Germany.

Second man suggests thread should have been removed, thread content and first man reaction to moderation support thoughts.

Third man suggests second man not complain about moderation, while ignoring complaints of first man with Nazi reference, logic fails.

Moderator deletes second and third man comments, Nazi reference and ridiculous thread remains.

Claims regarding desire for better discussions have been made, actions do not follow.

The same links are posted over and over by different names, it's spam and he's still referring to Dennis Harper and 2005 etc. He posted a link to Canadian Content forum in two posts , if you check that out you will find they got rid of a similar 'group' spamming their forum with the same conspiracy theories.

Two new ones have joined in now...

I have no doubt that party organizers and/or party sympathizers have focussed on local, regional and national opiniuon boards with two weeks to go. There are lots of tricks that can be used on anonymous boards since there is no accountablilty. Personally, I am not sure I would value any vote which is swayed by what the owner reads on an anonymous public access board.

As to the next two weeks, all parties have $millions available and have no intention of saving it for after the election.

Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.

Regarding the matter of "Charter rights" and "freedom of speech and expression" in what is now a locked thread, not only are moderators and this forum not bound by such rights, but the legal jurisdiction isn't Canada anyway. This site's forum domain and hosting service is under United States' jurisdiction.

Hey some members get a free pass around here as well, but you know, Canada.

Pardon the thread drift but does anybody dispute that "posting the same thing over and over again" is a form of thread drift?

This site's forum domain and hosting service is under United States' jurisdiction.

What difference, at this point, does it make??!?
