Gleason Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) People need to get off their ass and do some homework on this. Some of my journalist colleagues are now investigating this very matter so we should have some clarity shortly. In the interim we should remember that all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty. What Mr. Harper did or didn't do has not yet been proven. The same applies for the two accusers. Unfortunately I hope this does not turn into another Oliphant-type circus. If criminal acts were committed a prosecution should be mandated. If no criminal acts were involved then complete vindication is warranted IMO. Edited October 4, 2015 by Michael Hardner post edited to trim excerpt Quote
Not Yet Posted October 5, 2015 Author Report Posted October 5, 2015 To the OP I say "NFW" (No Fu*king Way). Harper may be many things but politically suicidal is not one of them. As for the last comment, it doesn't matter how old the story is. It is a matter of corruption involving a candidate for PM and should be told IMO.. No matter where Paul McKay works today doesn't really matter. He and his files should be subpoenaed by the House for investigation. Note: I find the links to the interviews with Chip Tatum useful as background information that lends credibility to the current allegations. After reading all the comments I think that Harper should unseal the files to prove he has no part of whatever is inside since most of that stuff is at least 10 years old. Maybe some of his cabinet members were involved and if that is true they can replaced. But if Harper values his reputation, he should eliminate any doubt and unseal the records before the elections. Gleason Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 (edited) Maybe the problem is not so much Harper but his buddy Bush. It appears that Terry Nelson has 20 year links to the Bush family and as you know, Nelson's partner Stephen Finta was seen dropping off $16 million in cash at American Financial Group in Miami. If the Nelson and Huxtable court files are unsealed it will probably implicate either George or Jeb bush. My gut tells me the Canadian damage will be limited to Nesbitt Burns amd Levesque. I have a hard time believing that Harper would let himself get dragged into drug smuggling. He just may be protecting his Bush buddies. Why wasn't this an issue nine years ago when it happened and now only comes up before an election? This was one of the best hidden scandal bombs. The way to defuse a a disclosure threat is to charge them with a crime - any crime - even a fake one that doesn't have to be provem in a foreign country. So when they extradited this guy Gorcyca, the story basically died. There are reports confrimed by the RCMP amd Peel Police that the family of Gorcyca received death threats. So when you have a family with young kids, people tend to forget about scandals when people are threatening to kill your kids. Gleason Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 People need to get off their ass and do some homework on this. The two insider witnesses who both tried to tell the story in Canada were quickly booted out and never allowed to testify under oath about what they knew and know. One is Erling Ingvaldsen that author Rodney Stich wrote about in his book and the other is this guy Bruce Gorcyca who first reported the operation back in 1991. Even an FBI Supervisor named Ted Gunderson went public about it when he interviewed a CIA pilot named Chip Tatum. (Just Google the Chip Tatum Interviews Canada Terry Nelson) then visit and read here http://whyunclesamhatesbruce.blogspot.ca/ You have a former FBI Supervisor, a former U.S. Treasury Agent, a former CIA pilot, and a guy who worked for Terry Nelson for 10 years all telling the same story. http://www.stewwebb.com/Gene_Tatum_A_Letter_To_The_Montana_Senate_19970322.htm And you forgot to tell us that Gorcyca is also a pedophile too eh? http://www.opnlttr.com/letter/confessions-american-pedophile Like I say, do your homework and learn this guy has reported/exposed 15 crimes over the last 30 years, was a former Fortune 500 executive, 7 Year Red Cross volunteer, Salvation Army house parent, honorably discharged military vet, air traffic controller, certified AIDS counselor, Little League baseball and soccer coach and that sure is your typical criminal profile right? Read up Bubba... Uncle Sam has smeared every single whistle-blower in the last 30 years. How the hell do you extradite a person who is not indicted for any crime, no victim is identified, no dollar amount of any crime is disclosed, and there are no "charging documents" that Canadian Law requires??? Why was the guy held 10.5 months by Immigration Canada in maximim security lock down when his wife and kids are Canadian? Read the Immigration hearing transcripts where it says he "has been consistently truthful" Even the former RCMP Superintendent Ben Soave admitted this. Maybe you might want to actually read the 11 page sworn report of Private Investigator Ed Reiken found as an exhibit at this link http://bruceslawsocietycomplaint.wordpress.com Then come and share your thoughts once again. The truth is not always convenient. So if this is not true, tell Harper to unseal the court file and let the public read it! http://www.cleveland.com/forums/politics/index.ssf?extlink?artid=2997632 Like this guy says, you need to get off your butt and do some homework. In the end it will probably be more about Bush than Harper, but we are not yet the 51st state so Harper needs to defend and watch out for Canadians first. He has the opportunity to make a fresh start and distance himself from any criminal enterprise the American thugs did in the past on Canadian soil, and make sure that it STOPS! with no open loopholes in our air defense. THERE WERE HONEST MOUNTIES WHO WANTED TO DO THEIR JOBS. Nobody should stand in their way, even if Bush and Harper are good buds. Quote
Hydraboss Posted October 6, 2015 Report Posted October 6, 2015 Like this guy says, you need to get off your butt and do some homework. Actually, no we don't. If you want to take this up as your "cause de jour" be my guest. The rest of us will just sit here. On our butts. Not caring. Maybe I should write a post in a blog or another forum about some outlandish shit and then come here, link to it, and state that "IT'S A FACT!" Gleason Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 (edited) It's your right "not to care" but I think most Canadians do care - especially if they have children. Letting corrupt foreign agents like Terry Nelson smuggle cocaine and heroin into Canada for years just because he is "close friends of the Bush family" endangers all of our kids. Do you know anyone addicted to drugs? I did - before they ODed. Before getting hooked on heroin JJ was on a scholarship to Queens University. Because of his habit, he dropped out nad became a burglar to get money to support his habit. As a kid he great hockey player and loved by everyone in his neighborhood in Windsor. When he died nobody could believe he was a drug addict. This heroin was not bought in a supermarket, and it did not fall out of the sky. IT WAS ALLOWED TO BE SMUGGLED INTO CANADA and honest Mounties tried to arrest and prosecute everyone. Do you understand they were stopped from doing their job - and said so on recorded telephone calls? As I said before, Harper did not smuggle in the drugs, nor did he personally rip off the Canadian investors in the American Financial Group scam. But he did nothing to fix the problems when he was given a chance to do so.. I am convinced that his inaction was somehow coerced. Just my own opinion, but I have met and interviewed two veteran narcotics agents and an MP who agree with me. http://www.opnlttr.com/letter/open-letter-anonymous-plea-help-related-bruce-gorcycas-forced-exile-abroad The opening of the Terry Nelson and Mike Huxtable files in Regina will probably provide all the missing pieces. Truth Or Dare Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 You must be nuts. The one thing Mr. Harper is not, is stupid. As clever and intelligent as he may be, he is not going to fool some AAA grade lawyers, a judge, and a jury. Keep those files sealed = job security. Quote
