Shady Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 What, like Canada? Last time I voted, there were many choices, despite your hyperbole. Quote
Shady Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 If another Bush becomes president you all might as well swear allegiance to the Queen again, because your countries small-r republicanism will be a God damned joke. Complete nonsense. There's an open primary where Republican voters can choose who they want to represent them. Your name doesn't disqualify you, nor does it guarantee you of anything. Quote
Topaz Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 Don't forget the maker of the software that runs the voting machine is a friend to the Bush family and at one time it was caught even before the polls were open, 17,000 voters for GW! The country is so corrupt and most America doesn't know it. Quote

Shady Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 Try telling that to a Koch Bro. I don't know what that's suppose to mean. Perhaps you can enlighten us. Quote

Argus Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 It's a problem for a guy whose only message thus far has been 'I'm my own man', in an attempt to distance himself from his brother. I thought his problem was he was considered almost sane. That has the crazies in the Republican base pulling their hair out in fury that they might choose a sane man instead of a wack job who wants to shut down 'duh guberment'. bush_cheney2004 Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 I think it is great....not long after one U.S. federal election is complete we get the next cycle for the viewing pleasure of some apoplectic Canadians. Who knows...maybe they will get that Keystone pipeline after all. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Topaz Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 BC, I don't think the average Canadian really cares about the stupid pipeline, only certain groups on BOTH side of the border. We car more about jobs and our vets, which I have heard aren't being treated well across the border either. What's with government who send people into war but when they come back, they are treated like third class citizens? Quote

Argus Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Governor Walker did it four times....that's what "democracy looks like". In the US it is. His governorship wasn't so much won as bought and paid for -- much like Scott Walker is bought and paid for. He doesn't tie his shoes without calling up his billionaire paymasters. GostHacked Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Yep. With many choices. You realize there are only one or two more viable choices when it comes to our Canadian government. So really, you only get one or two more choices compare to the US. Quote
