jacee Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 I'm going to try to get rid of a few years of retirement bulge ... going to the gym, riding a bike, etc. And I'm going to surround myself with positive people, and dump the downers. Happy New Year! Quote

Moonlight Graham Posted January 2, 2014 Report Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) Setting specific goals is always a good thing to do, it's probably the most effective tool for improving your life in every imaginable facet. New Years resolutions are a part of this, but I think people should always be setting goals for themselves, not just once a year on New Years, though it's a good start and a good excuse to set goals. Several years ago someone close to me had a New Years resolution to quit smoking after they had been doing so several times a day for decades, and they haven't had a cigarette since! So goals/resolutions do work if you're committed to achieving them. BubberMiley Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 I agree that saying "the left fully succumbs to Harper Derangement Syndrome" is classic trolling. I guess I fell for it. My bad.
