Not some vague point in time long-long ago and far-far away. You just don't like the ugliness of it...and I don't blame you. Welcome to the new Egypt. Are you making any plans to visit? I'm not. Well... I'm not convinced that this means anything at all. There's a steady stream of crackpots and I need to be convinced of their relevance before I decide that this means anything. I have tried to make this point over and over again on here - posting propaganda doesn't help us whether it's clips of homophobic Reform Party folks and Tea Party folks spewing garbage, or religious people preaching about how the other side is going to hell. That type of communication isn't directed towards people who are debating using reason. Just my opinion, but I wouldn't want my argument to consist of just pointing at the other side and saying "see how crazy they are ?". It's a little shallow. But I find it more than amusing they act shocked when they elect a party, or a group of people if you may, that has no history of being inclusive or pluralistic, when he doesn't act inclusive or pluralistic. Actually the MB in Egypt has been pushing for democracy/pluralism for about 30 years, and that has been their platform. I expect the Arab Spring will last decades at a minimum myself. You need to control your desire for instant gratification. All I'm saying, in starting this thread, was question how a democratically elected leader could act in such an undemocratic fashion. Seems like the election changed nothing. We'll see though. Quote

I'm starting to think that just posting videos of zealots over and over again looks like trolling. What do you think ? I'd like to pursue the points you're making but it's hard to respond when you just post videos of zealots like that. You're not adding anything that can progress the conversation from what I can see.
