August1991 Posted May 6, 2011 Author Report Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) Pictures are nice...a DNA match is far better. The pictures can be faked storyline means that JFK isn't dead either.Pictures, DNA, same idea. But a picture Osama with a bullet through his head is worth a thousand words for people who are illiterate.Commandos get the evidence, and then send in the cruise missile. The pictures of the compound after the cruise missile are worth even more words. At this point, Osama bin Laden is no longer the terrorist-mastermind threat that he was 15 years ago. (Osama was a pathetic 21st version of Napoleon in Ste-Helene.) Now, his killing is only about symbolism. Edited May 6, 2011 by August1991 Quote
Guest American Woman Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 Pictures, DNA, same idea. But a picture Osama with a bullet through his head is worth a thousand words for people who are illiterate. There are plenty of fake pictures out there already. People who are illiterate won't know that they're fake since they can't read that they're fake. All they can do is look at the pictures, which probably make as much of an impression as real ones would since they wouldn't know the difference. Quote
GostHacked Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 I should have said it doesn't produce the long form for individuals. Did you not read the thread about this? Sorry I don't always 'Listen what you say'. So they would not produce one for Obama, because he was an individual? I am confused. Since you don't always listen to what I say, it's no wonder you are confused. But yes, they didn't produce it for Obama because they don't produce the long form for individuals; only for their records. Ultimately they made an exception for Obama. Quote

blueblood Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 Obama might have been able to stop the birther movement from festering if he released his long form birth certificate years ago. Refusing to do so gave birthers a sliver to grasp onto. The same is true for Bin Laden photos. They had no problem releasing photos of other al queada leaders killed by troops. I don't see why this is an issue. Because a head shot with a rifle at close range isn't going to be pretty or recognizeable. Some reports were saying that a good portion of his skull was messed up. If he's as mangled as they are saying he is, then it would be easy to dismiss the photos as fake. No one who questions if bin Laden was really killed is going to be suddenly convinced by the photos. I hope Obama doesn't release them. At this point I can't see what purpose it would serve. Quote
Shady Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Personally, I'm curious to see the photos. But I don't know if they should be released. I've heard good arguments for and against. So I'm not really too sure. Quote
Oleg Bach Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 No they should not release the photos = but they should release the photo of Obamas old man praying at the mosque. Quote

At this point I can't see what purpose it would serve. I agree. Personally, I don't care if the photos are released or not, but I can't imagine what possible use it would be. Those asking for the photos as "proof" are certainly not going to take them as evidence. In fact, they shouldn't; if they really believe it's all a big lie, they definitely should not believe photographic "evidence", which in a case like this would be completely meaningless anyway. BC_chick Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 I saw Osama having lunch in Gastown yesterday. He was with Biggie, Tupac and Elvis. Shady Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Why did Bin Laden get a proper Muslim burial? I thought he wasn't really a Muslim? That's what everybody keeps telling us about Islamic terrorists. That they're not really Muslims. Quote
