Shady Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Personally I think Bin Laden has been dead for years. And what is really hilarious is that the US could not catch him in recent years and now US officials are in possesion of his body? Not fucking buying it. But watch the next week and see how Obama does in the polls ... I have to agree with punked, you're a crazy person. Even if this was all about polls. There isn't an election for another year and a half. Why would one orchestrate this now? Answer. They wouldn't. Only a crazy person would think that. Quote
Bonam Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 It's interesting how despite the fact that getting bin Laden has been a mission for 10 years now, the mood is not particularly festive or victorious. No one I've talked to seems to care much. Goes to show just how hard it is to win "victories" in this war on terror. It is more a constant effort at damage control and prevention. The civilized world is definitely up against a considerable challenge in a conflict like this, where even killing an enemy mastermind seems of little relevance or significance in the grand scheme of things. capricorn Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 HOORAY!!!! WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY!!! Harper to speak shortly from Abbotsford.
