Ball cap, hard hat, cowboy hat, toque- something, somewhere on the campaign trail, somebody is going to make you wear a lid. And there is the problem: with a monster hairdo like Trumps, any hat will have to be the size of Rhode Island and make him look like a sideshow clown. End of Presidential bid, right there. I have seen too many elections going back to JFK to ever elevate the process or office to such a lofty place. America and Americans are larger than any single presidential candidate or president. I'm having a hard time picturing a Ronald Reagan-style candidate when I see Donald Trump. What I see isn't a great communicator, just a loud-mouthed swindler who should be glad he didn't end up buried in the Nevada desert. Reagan started as a celebrity and became a major public figure and successful politician long before he buried Jimmy Carter. Trump has a reality TV show and continues to skip loan payments. Quote
