Am currently reading Marx's "Das Kapital", which is an excellent, insightful critique of capitalism. In it, he exposes the inherent contradiction in the capitalist system, based on the very principle that production and profit must be maximized. His theory of the eventual demise of capitalism, if left unfettered seems to be true. Although, I agree with his criticisms but not necessarily all of his conclusions.

It is a weak field.

Maybe that is why Trump is up that high?

I don't think Trump is in it to win, he is too business savvy - another 20 years puts him in his 80's, then my friends is the right time - like changing priorities, like nothing else to do? - let's do the president thingy

Every elected leader of a country is a celebrity to some degree.

We don't need celebrities, we need people who can think and act on critical thought. Leave the celebrities for Hollywood.

You're missing the point. Just by running for office, one becomes a celebrity to a degree. It's impossible not to. You seem to be confusing Hollywood celebrities with celebrity in general. All that reall means is well known. And when one campaigns for the highest office in the land, one becomes well known.

Right, but nothing you wrote here applies to the topic, i.e. the hair, i.e. Mr. Trump.

I disagree...member Shady correctly points out the meaning of celebrity in general, and Mr. Trump's celebrity irrespective of "Hollywood". Celebrity in America means more than what you can see in American media (from Canada).

Okaaay... but Trump is a celebrity already whether or not he runs.

Yes...I already stated that several posts ago with comparisons to Ronald Reagan. In America, any natural born citizen over the age of 35 can be president...even Donald Trump!
