But that's what US presidents get paid to do. Canadian PMs can only cause the deaths of hundreds...tops.

It would take a massive inferiority complex for one to spend his (or her) life pointing that out. It's funny but a little sad to watch.

It could be worse!

Is this really what you people have resorted to criticizing now?

How are either of those clips worse? So he isn't a pitcher? And the second video is hilarious, and it's hardly his fault that the seal fell off the podium, his reaction to it was great as you can tell from the crowd.

As far as your comment to what people have resorted to, you should probably take a look in the mirror, if you can stomach it.

I think President Obama is very bright, but you are entitled to your faux superiority from Canada.

Obama may in fact be the most successful politician in history, from the perspective of fundraising and grassroots organizing. The 2008 election was an incredible sight to see. There are politicians all of the democratic world who have wet dreams about pulling off what Obama did.

I think he's a very bright guy. I think the root problem is that expectations were absurdly high, and rather than managing them, he embraced those expectations. Savvy campaign politics, to be sure, but unfortunately at some point, no matter how bright the Christmas lights, the electric bill will arrive.

I agree. But has nobody to blame but himself.

On a different note, I'd like to submit this as one of the greatest moments of the Bush II presidency.

Bush: "Damn Right" I Approved Waterboarding

In a memoir due out Tuesday, Bush makes clear that he personally approved the use of that coercive technique against alleged Sept. 11 plotter Khalid Sheik Mohammed.

CBS

And Khalid Sheik Mohammed spilled everything he knew. Saving the lives of tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands. God bless you Mr. President. :)

How do we know it saved lives ?

There's no question it saved lives. The only debate is whether it was the right thing to do. I happen to think so. Others may disagree.

So if I think you're a risk, is it okay if I waterboard you? I mean, it's all about saving lives, right?

It's something that's rarely used, and saved for only certain situations. Certainly if I was a terrorist mastermind, then yes, it would be perfectly appropriate to waterboard/interroate me. :)

Yep...sign me up for waterboarding too...can't be any worse than a good college hazing!

I am sure you have examples of how it saved lives. Or is it only a loose correlation beacuse there has not been another 9/11 in the US, while Al-queda as a whole have increased attacks in the past 10 years. They have also spread from Afghanistan to Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, and a few other countries on the planet.

I was referring to the people that "elected" Bush to a second term.... but you knew that.

Yep.

Ex-CIA agent: Waterboarding 'saved lives'

A former CIA agent who participated in interrogations of terror suspects said Tuesday that the controversial interrogation technique of "waterboarding" has saved lives, but he considers the method torture and now opposes its use.

Then I guess those Americans are already "brighter" than you....they made a much clearer statement.

No, it was just selective reading comprehension on your part... but, you knew that too.

No matter...President Bush received 62,040,610 votes in 2004. I am quite certain that many are "brighter" than you think, and spend far less time worrying about how you vote in Canada.

So funny. From the American who trolls a Canadian politics site. And no, it doesn't matter where it is hosted.

Bottom line, Bush was an imbecile. I couldn't care less how many votes he got, that doesn't change the fact that he was without doubt the worst President you Americans ever had. The world is worse for having him as the President of the United States. Now you can tell me all about how the world doesn't get to vote there, it's the MO we're all used to.

Watching you...watching me. Americans don't give a rat's ass who you vote for or make assumptions about your intelligence for doing so.

Correct...you don't get a say in the matter unless you are a citizen...just like in Canada. You've already demonstrated who is not so "bright" with your smug comment...now take some in return if you can handle it.

Except, of course, you, who have practically devoted your life worrying about Canadians.

Which is precisely why you don't seem like much of an American at all.

Complete nonsense. As usual, you don't have a shred of evidence to back up your lame-brained assertions.
