Tawasakm Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 This thread used to be brought to the front on a regular basis. Since I have seen this test pop up in another thread it may be time to bring it to the front again. Over my time here I have already taken the test a few times: Damn every time I see this test I feel an overwhelming compulsion to take it...Lets see where I stand this year. Economic Left/Right: -4.75 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.67 Before that I was: Economic Left/Right: -4.62 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.82 And before that: Economic Left/Right: -3.75 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.72 I don't seem to have changed a whole heap. My latest results: Economic Left/Right: -1.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.79 I definitely seem to be moving toward the right - certainly in relation to where I was. Interesting... Quote
Conservative1 Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Economic Left/Right: 0.0 (oddly enough...) Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.3 Hmm this kind of surprised me, thought for sure my economic thinking would be considered further right. Many of you would likely have thought the same given my handle i'm sure.... Quote
stignasty Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 I agree with comments made by others that some of the questions are poorly worded. I would have like a neutral vote for some of the questions. I chose disagree for a few of the questions where I neither agreed nor disagreed. That probably moved me over a bit closer to the left than I actually am. Economic Left/Right: -1.63 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.74 Over by The Dalai Lama and Gandhi. Which makes you probably knowledgeable about one more country than most Canadians." - Stephen Harper
Vancouver King Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 The good news from this quiz is that I am not an unreconstucted Stalinist with authoritarian tendencies. Trust me, the forum doesn't want the bad news. In my defense, I did vote for Robert Stanfield in 1972. Quote When the people have no tyrant, their public opinion becomes one. ...... Lord Lytton
