Please stop with the nonsense. This is the platform that the Liberals campaigned on. And as far as percentages of support are concerned, the only people that count are people that vote. Combine the Liberal, NDP, and Bloc support and the vaste majority of Canadians voted to support this revised budget. Who cares what the Conservatice support is - it only represents 30%, a substantable minority position and not worth listening to. Screw the minorities, right.

You know I believe that Morin was a spy for the feds, just like I believe some of Le Hir's accusations. Sad behaviour on both sides when we profess to be fighting for democratic values. I think whether or not you walk the talk is what matters most, the journey, not the destination, is key to successful living.

Everything is political when you come right down to it. You are perfectly free to teach your children good moral teachings, but to suggest to your kids that Christian religion, or any religion, is superior to another in not acceptable, and accounts for a lot of the troubles on our small and fragile planet. And as far as funding/taxes are concerned not one cent should be given to support any religious institution. I happen to attend a relighious institution and they are able to provide charitable tax benefits to our members. I totally disagree with that. Why should someone with some superstitious belief be given some kind of tax break over others? This money is needed for much more wothwhile projects in our society.

I don't think it has anything to do with liberal, blocistes, conservative, etc., as these people are all in bed with each other. All you have are a bunch of elites playing games for power at the average Canadian's expense. Look Charest came from Mulroney's cabinet, and so did Bouchard. Levesque came from the Liberals, and now we have Stronach scenario. They are all the same.

We could change that overnite by not allowing any advertising for any election campaign. The reason we are constantly saddled with these right wing governments is that these right wing parties are in bed with the mainstream media. During the last provincial election in BC I was at a fund-raiser where the former NDP premier Dave Barrett was the guest speaker. He had researched and discovered donations to the BC Liberals in the last year the statistics were available, 2003 I believe, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars from the mainstream media. And we wonder why this media is so biased. This is a very serious breach of our democracy NOT to have a free press, and Canadians are paying a huge price because of it.

One of the main reasons the right wing nuts rarely obtain power is their personal attacks on people. Look at Harper's attacks on Stronach when she bolted the Cons and no wonder she left with a leader like that.

Over the years we have seen a poliferation of religious schools crop up all over the place primarily because of the tax advantages that are being offered. I suggest that these religious schools are a form of child abuse. Children should be brought up to explore all religions, and not to be told that their parent's religion is the best one, or the only true path to God etc., whatever that means, and all the other nonsense that goes with this crap. Study longer to earn more money

You just don't get it. Human rights mean something to most Canadians, and obviously a lot more than you seem to be able to understand. Canadians are not going to elect a PM or a party that is going to attack our human rights. Wake up and smell the roses!
