Not my point at all....almost half of Canadians did vote for conservatives and most of them do think Canada is broken....and all of that is laid at the feet of Justin liberal party,most of which are still here today....thats my point....many things in Canada are broken....you being dishonest or ignoring the problem by not admitting to that... I think everyone in Canada knows the conservatives lost the election, hard not to with so many liberals rubbing it in our noses everyday...but that was never the point...the point is during Justins reign of terror his government broke or mishandled a lot of stuff...So much so it gave Carney an entire campaign to run on... No it does not do you think Canadian wanted Justins jokers running the country,near the end even justin hated himself...and most Canadians did not agree in that direction he was shoving our country, but they were terrified of what PP was going to , eat small children in streets, endorse witch craft,banishing all social programs...etc... I was asking you to justify your position, but i get itr it is easy to deflect on the questions and repeat the same old liberal line you lost we won...suck it up...

Defend it how exactly....you mean by calling trump names, or jumping on a forum and screaming into the wind...thats not patriotism, thats some people venting...no more than they do at sporting events when team Canada is playing....you and i have much different ideas of patriotisms... After 9/11 happened recruiting went up 5 %,when we were told we were going to Afghanistan recruiting jumped up to 8 %....Canada was going to war...and most Canadians switched the channel.... For the most part Canadians have sat back and were content as government after government created or failed in solving any of the problems or issues...it was like they lived in their own bubbles and did not care what was going on outside of them,with exception of some water cooler talk...and again unless there is some large lobby group backing an issue...take gun control, LGBTQ, Palestinian issues those garner Canadian support...but immigration, military any of the other security services, health care,when was the last time thousands of Canadians protested these topics...it is like they don't care enough about these issues to take any action....even writing an MP is to much work..it sends a message we don't care, Thats not patriotism its something else...... Patriotism is more than just giving out a few words, quite or not, it is about action...it is about giving back to our nation,province ,community....And today that list that you and i talk about ....it gets longer everyday.... I have my own reasons to be disappointed by Canada and it's people...most of it was during my military career...and my service in combat or peace making...and how Canadians treated us upon going into battle or our return, or what our country provided in support...not only did we disappoint our soldiers and their families, but our allieds...and any achievements we did if Afghanistan was on the backs of our soldiers, not from support from our government or its tax payers...And i seen good people not come home to their families because of it...and if they did come home and needed help adjusting we were told we were weak, if you went to the hospital and were then let go, or we toughed it out until mental health became a normal thing and we waited up to 2 years to get treatment...

I know a lot of vets that would disagree...They've been let down to many times....don't get me wrong if any of my old comrades phoned my up and said they were going off to war again, i'd be there in a heartbeat, not for king or country but for them...If we could survive 10 years of Justin , they could survive kamala...the question should be would kamala survive the American people without getting shot....

Is it conspiracy, not all parent see it the same way, nor are they experiencing the same level of happiness about your localized education system ...it seems your writing all of their experiences off because you have not experienced that way.... I mean what has been given up in the curriculum to teach gender studies, etc...and what does these topics prepare you for in the future work force...has any of your employment opportunities asked for gender studies education, or have they provide you with these opportunities during your work week. How about finance training, how to manage money, save money, invest money, building credit. just to name a few....that everyone should know a little about before entering the workforce...

You mean me and millions of other Canadians, let not forget more than 8 million voted conservative and most if not all of them agree this country is broken...And it is sad to think that this is what Canadians wanted....take immigration for instance, majority of Canadians don't want high immigration...So thats not what the people want...i personal think they could not care what the government does. they can't even take the time out of their own bubble to fight for what is right...unless it is an LGBTQ issue, or gender, palestinian, issues,then they got all the time in the world.... Well sir,i hate to break this to you, you voted Liberal, and now your defending past liberal practices, or at least it looks like it...Your right conservatives can do better, but i don't see anyone lined up to do that do you, infact to be honest we have not had really any leadership here in Canada for decades...And i'm not pissed at you, i don't really care who you support, you should own that, it was your choice.... Like i said before me and at least 8 million voters, and if your happy with the way things were or are being run, good on you...but don't try and tell me there is no dumpster fires when i can't see you through all the smoke...or you can provide some departments names that are run well and people are happy with...so we can discuss that.

Really, think the military is broken or it's just my opinion...what about immigration broken or just me...Health care, RCMP, CSIS,Coast Guard, Indian affairs...i could go on but i think it is not just me,i think millions of Canadians think this way.... If your going to stand up for the liberal party and support them for the last 10 plus years and not call it a dumpster fire, is not being honest....the majority of the country thought so,justin was a huge walking dumpster fire....as far as the new liberal government I think right now they are doing alright....but it is way to early to make a call one way or another... So what happens to kids once they are older, why do they lose that patriotism,love of country....

I disagree, from quebec to the atlantic provinces are not able to survive on their own, not even close....Quebec being the biggest problem....if they could there would be no provincial transfers...the west is most likely to succeed, with being the food basket of canada and having all the energy...but that not going to be enough what happens to pensioners , old age , CPP there is not enough to support everyone if Canada breaks up...thats only one issue.....No the best bet is joining the states at that point...and BC...do you really think BC are going to cooperate with Alberta and the rest of them....use the new port in Manitoba....it would be easier....

Like you said cows produce milk 24/ 7 days a week and if your at your quota then your dumping your milk...you can not donate it, or sell it, you dump it....Canada has it's share of mega farmers as well.

I have no problems with farmers making a living, it seems you don't like a free market, or support the little guy just trying to scratch out a living, most of the quotas are going to big farm cooperation's. W5 did a big story about the milk and egg cartels, and the waste they over produce that gets dumped down the drains,...And we the consumer pay for that in jacked up prices.... if your in favor perhaps every industry should have pricing control to ensure they make a profit , and you pay the higher price just so they can make a living.... And if the Canadian dollar was a little better, and fuel cheaper i would be buying most of my food in the US...

Once Quebec separates, what do you think the ROC will do,it will start carving up the rest of the country....we will hand trump everything he has ever wanted....no way individual provinces could stand on their own....and it all will be free or cost us everything....like pensions, OAS, CPP, all will vanish...it will be messy....and lots of people will lose everything....

I know lots of people that travel to the US just to purchase food and gas, i use to travel 45 mins there and back and still save enough to make it worth my while....and for me US milk products taste much better....Canadian producers buy their quotas, and pay huge wads to produce milk, eggs, and milk products, all that quota money goes to the government....and it is worth bils...it restricts who can produce milk, and how much they can produce, over produce and that milk gets dumped wasted....Prices are inflated here in Canada to make it profitable for Canadian farmers....there is no competition, just buy a quota and start milking....it is illegal to sell milk in canada without a quota... you can use it for personal use, but not sell it or barter with it...

Who's going to let Canada build a nuclear weapon ?...there are way to many in the world right now...having one does not guarantee your safety...look at Israel, it has been attacked many times by non nuclear nations... MAD does not always work,If iran was to get a bomb do you think they would not use it....

Where do you get these ideas....Taxes, war bonds were a thing in time of war....along with many other things like rationing, of almost everything....if we can't somehow convince Canadians to pay for our military with taxes which they have NO control off...., just how much do you think bonds are going raise...

Do You see any of that now, i mean it's rough if you have to travel all the way back to 67 to get some patriotism for this country....Quite patriotism never heard of that before....sounds like a half hearted attempt at something....or your patriotic when it is convenient. Not sure what's wrong with having a flag in your yard, having some pride in your nation...sh1t can't even play the national anthem at schools any more because it offends some....Canadians are more patriotic towards their hockey teams than they are of their nation...Service to their country first is a thing of the past....
