The article said that there was a survey, that involved multiply teachers being identified as being initiated or approved by a teacher... so there is more than one cherry picked head line, of course there is all the universities and the mistreatment of jewish students by palestinian students/ protestor's, and staff...Jewish students needing to hide their identity here in Canada becasue of their religion.......Should make you proud to be a Canadian....how is everyone not standing up to this BS..instead we invite it into our homes with open arms.. you would not have to level anything, prepositioned troops near major military bases and ottawa, night raids with light infantry forces....when everyone is at home sleeping....game over...follow up troops stream over the border areas with light armoured vehs...Canadians wake up and it's done....besides a few ships at sea, you could decapitate our military fairly easy ....you could have the country in less than 12 hours ....if there is a problem, have a massive show of force, like air force F-15 and A-10....throw some attack helos in for good measure....you could shut down the country pretty fast, with minimum effort... This is not going to be like Iraq,most Canadian troops are going to remain loyal to the country ( which is more than i can say for the average Canadian showing loyalty to its troops) ....there is always that one guy, but for the most part they won't help unless in saves canadians it would be like asking a US military person to do the same thing... it is not likely, unless it saves Canadian lives.... US does not have a good record at winning hearts and minds, and rebuilding a country after they tear it apart....with one exception Germany and Japan, but since then their record sucks....Canadians are not going to respond well to military marshall law....they will have to take the soft approach, a quick transition from Canadian policies to US ones, more carrot than stick... I am a reasonable fella, but i won't be playing any part any of this, i'm going to sit this one out, i have this t shirt already........I see reality for what it is, and i don't think the US military would be required to take over this country frankly, i don't see Canadians rising up like "red dawn" to stand up to our oppressors'...or whatever form this take over turns out to be..., they might protest, burn a few police cars, do a couple sit ins, block morning traffic, hang a few palestinian flags but to arm themselves and fight....that is a pipe dream for the vast majority of Canadians ..... Ukraine had a large standing military before the war....once the war broke out there was a lot of volunteers that would be trained by the regular army of Ukraine... Ukraine did surprise the entire globe with it's early military adventures....but let's face the facts without western military equipment and Ammo Ukraine would have ceased to exist long ago.... Taking nothing away from it's soldiers, because those guys are hard as rock....but they did not have the industry to produce Ammo or equipment needed for this prolong fight...and still don't.... IF and i say a big if this ever became reality, this would be over before the average Canadian woke up the next morning...once the large military bases are taken, and then parliament it is game over...most will find out what is happening on CBC....and if it there is not a lot of blood spilt during those early assaults'....which why would there be...it would happen so fast....They would have control, of everything our government , our military, and police, our money, even hockey and the beer store....getting that running quickly would be the tricky part....but once the cheques and money started flowing , it would be a normal day.... what Canadian values or culture would be worth losing your life over....i get it our security forces have a job to do, and they will try but fail in quick order, but the average Canadian joe....what would worth throwing everything he has out the window, because he does not like trump... Or one could ask yourself what american values, or policies are worth dying over you make it sound like after trumps victory speech Canadians will take to the streets...but when they see all this american equipment pouring into their towns and cities they will shrug their shoulders and wait to see what is going to happen next....and within weeks everything will return to normal , Canadians will learn to sing the star spangled banner, figure out American money. and learn how to drink weak ass american beer... Recruitment numbers went up a full 10 % while the Afghanistan conflict was running....not much interest from Canadians...in either joining, funding or supporting our own military....hard to get excited about motivating people to fight when they are not interested in defending themselves...at least from my point of view...

I'd like to think i was a military history buff, and i have lived through some of it... Ukraine has a regular force military which is now engaged with Russia, very few civilians took up arms... Same could be said about Vietnam, Viet cong soldiers were trained/ equipped by the NVA. It was the NVA a regular military force that did most of the fighting... France the resistance played a small role , helping allied pilots get back to england, blowing up some trains, the allieds played a much larger role in france... I'll give you Afghanistan, but it cost them hundreds of thousands of people each time....and lets face it Biden lost that war all be himself....by tieing our soldiers hands behind their backs....Taliban was forced to the very edges of the battle field...until the start of the draw down... Most of these countries had very motivated people to draw upon...like religion, communism, or being poor, we don't have that in Canada, what we have is fat, lazy, entitled people that know nothing about sacrifice or hard times...not that that is a bad thing because we have a very high standards of living...which produces soft people....think any of them could march 30 to 40 kms with a 100 lb plus rucksack, then engage the enemy ....without any of the sensors, weapons, armored vehs, arty, helos....and do that battle after battle...your asking a lot of Untrained Canadians.... Not sure you seem to think that Canadians have this massive warrior sprite in them, they are as soft as you can get, most have NO small arms training, firecrackers are the largest explosive they've handled, NO training in heavy weapons' just to be able to move shoot and communicate on the battlefield takes years of training to become good at it... There is not one Ukrainian unit out there that has any original members, they have been killed or wounded long ago....and these guys are trained and have been fighting for years now...give some green horn Canadian citizen a rifle and point him in the direction of the battle field he'll be dead within minutes of arrival...American military has a huge amount of combat vets, that are very aware of what they are doing... ....and then there is the point of, Canadians don't even like the warriors they have now...Maybe if a bunch of military guys got together and trained them they could pull off simple tasks like patrolling maybe do some ambush stuff...and if they lived long enough might be somewhat effective...but there is a lot more than just pulling a trigger, and hiding behind a tree for cover...going against a well trained military force with all the gear....your going to die quickly...

Here is an example of where our justice system fails Canadians, he has been caught 5 times for DUI, has a lifetime ban on driving...this time he puts a young person in the hospital with serious injuries and is released the next morning....i mean WTF....he is being charged for DUI....for the 5 th time, he was charged with driving a car when banned...and the justice system grants him bail the next morning....If the judge could not see that this individual is a danger to himself and others,perhaps he should be asked to step down, and this guy locked up, have his car sold at auction...we need to do better... We speak english and french here in Canada if he wants a trade deal, he should be able to tells us what he wants exactly....if it's cheese then say it is the cheese instead of dropping tariffs on copper, etc... and making us guess...

Violent protestor's here in Canada...more like soccer hooligans,most of those palestinian protestor's are spoiled rich white kids or old people that have no idea what true violence is....those palestinians involved in the protests are the ones that fled the violence in Gaza, and will not want any part of sticking up for canada once the chips are down.... Look i get it everyone fantasizes about living through the next massive conflict, or war or the aftermath of war...and it all good, but i can tell you with todays tech, any small group thinking about becoming a terrorist group or anything similar. you will get caught and you will be engaged, and not by some RCMP rookies, these will be people who solde job is to hunt terrorist's........the more soft target's you kill, the more attention your cell gets, and if it gets handed over to a tier one unit , you'll be able to start counting your last days on the planet...and while am not a tier one operator, I was a Canadian infantry soldier with the RCR and i know first hand the violence our boys could dole out...our unit was pretty good at hunting bad guys and giving them an interview with allah...Tier one units operated on a whole different level... What history, most of these countries that have had successful inserections or terrorist groups, have been religiously motivated ( Middle East) communist vietnam, these countries are normally very poor,or very religious or both...easy to convince the population to die for the cause...you have none of that here in Canada...SO history is going to pass you by here...And a lot can happen in a year, Canadians might be convinced that life is much better being a yankee...who knows maybe it will be somewhat peaceful...and Canadians are treated humanely... .Look i'm not going to argue with you, this was my job the entire time we were in Afghanistan, looking for bad guys and engaging them it is NOT going to be like any Movie....where kids take on the Russians, or Rambo comes out of the wood work...US soldiers are not going to come in guns a blazing...but like any soldiers from any country you kill one and pi## them off,they are not going to have a problem sending Canadians for interviews with their maker... Soldiers train for these scenarios constantly, they know how to spot ambushes, or when they are being lured into a kill zone....In Afghanistan we could listen into any cell phone conversation, and using electronic warfare jams entire spectrums of frequencies all on the move....and your forgetting they have armored vehs on the ground both IFV and Tanks...., and attack helos flying above for cover, on standby is arty, fighter aircraft, rockets, bombers etc..... Most of the armoured vehs have gun shot indicators that will pinpoint any gum, missile launch....not to mention drones flying high above the convoy just above the convoy and in the middle....it takes mere seconds to find a shooter, and engage them with 25 mm which fires many different types of rounds, but you can't hide from them....I've seen a taliban take 3 rounds of 25mm all that was left was shin bones and feet in sandals....the rest was turned to pink mist...and that was done from 1000 meters, on the move... the Average infantry guy life expectancy is 7 seconds...in a battle...against a near peer enemy....the people your going to fight is trained and equipped with more than any terrorist could dream of his life expectancy would be measured in seconds after firing one shot...and most of that happens on the move, doing about 80 kms an hour...and the soldier doing it has a wad of chew in his mouth, and a coffee in one hand... Canadians have not experienced the violence that a modern soldier can bring to the table....what they see is in a movie or in a brief washed news clip....a couple of days of seeing the results and most will leave the battlefield for good...or die...

The current condition of our military,there is no way we could defend toronto, or any major city center from a determined force....even at 10 % we would not be able to defend from the US for long....it is going to take at least a decade to repair what is broken with our military.... and hundreds of billions of dollars...we have 3 undermanned brigades to defend 8000 kms of countryside not even counting our north...put that into context we have 80 main battle tanks, 40 for training and 40 ready for combat, of which some of those training tanks are in latvia... most of those combat tanks are in Alberta...US marine corp has more women under arms than we have military members, and the US out numbers our tanks buy close to 100 plus to one....

I think a lot of new Canadians come from conflict areas, and are not interested in fighting...and the ones that are, have no skills , or experience...it would take almost a full year to train and equip A basic force that could conduct raids, patrols etc...This is not like on TV...they would have extremely high cas rates, and that alone would discourage anyone else for joining..you need someone thats really motivated, really focused like religiously, or someone that experience loss of family members by the enemy, needs to be a lot of hate... Yes i do think a group of trained para military guys could do that, the taliban did just that but they had been fighting their whole lives but had hundreds of thousands fighting for them and a huge support network including the Pakistan intel service... ...here in Canada , Canadians are soft , they lack training, lack firearms, lack explosives, they lack everything....getting that from the enemy is not very easy....The Russian and chinese are not going to risk anything like that...world has turn to sh!T if that happens anyways, With the US focused on Canada and other global events...the bad guys would have their own plans, like finishing ukraine,or europe and taiwan.... Average Canadians might be good at a lot of things but, fighting in modern warfare is not one...it would take years of training and years of stealing tech from the americans... to create a force that could do any real damage....and the tech we had in Afghanistan was james bond sh!T the tech the have today is well past that... today there is nowhere to hide. use a cell phone or just listening to a radio, or spark up anything electrical, or battery powered, and it's game over operate in the open at night, or in winter and your body heat will give you away....you pretty much have to stay below ground and only in small numbers....most military vehs today have gun fire indicators, fire any weapon and with in seconds they will have your position fixed on a map and arty fire on route...nobody out runs arty fire... Now if they could stay alive for the first year, get some experience and weapons then maybe they may be able to make a run at regulars US forces....but that's why they have different tiers of units...that specialize in small unit warfare...sorry not many canadians i know of could compete at that level...one is olympic class the other local shinny league...and US has a lot of those guys....Once our military guys are used up...( that might be in the first 24 hours.) that pretty much will be the end for Canada.... That's by design our government has taken most of the tools you need to handle a foreign military invasion away, nobody even thought that was possible.... our government has always been afraid of our own people look at the convoy...and how everyone vilified them,and they still do..."call out the tanks" use military drones on them" "nazi flags"all the names the government called them....none of them very flattering....if we could do that in peace they could really do a number in time of crises...think them fat cat liberals politicians are going to hold out when pressured by a professional military force...because they would be the first to fall....Canada holding out for years, is all for the movies....now 30 to 40 years ago, we would have seen the white burn again...today, Canadians not a chance...Canadians would be to busy surviving rather than fighting...

Sure there will be some resistance, but the last poll to be taken was just over 50 % of Canadians would agree to fight , and only if they agreed with cause, that patriotism everyone talks about is just chest thumping........And with all that being said...i think there are provinces that would cut their own deal and agree to whatever the US was offering.... Taking of the country would be the easy part, holding it would involve massive amounts of US troops, people don't do well under occupation...US would have to win the hearts and minds, here in Canada it's money that talks the talk, exchanging our money on a one of one, continuing our pensions, CPP, OAS....not even sure if there is an american equivalent...what would actually change here in Canada,what would actually change under american administration? ... that would be bad...what is it that we would lose ?

Have you looked at the free trade deal, if you had you will notice for every Canadian tariff their is a US tariff of equal value...lets not forget Trump promoted the latest free trade agreement between our countries as the best on the planet...And Canadians don't want to slaughter anyone,like i have said before many Canadians have family living in the US... As for cheese i don't understand why we love to pay more for our dairy, it is a cartel thats is making millions off of Canadian, that somehow has convinced Canadians we somehow need this cartel it protects our dairy farmers which is bullshit, it protects those with enough capitol to get into the business thats it....
