  1. Again, you have lived your life here in Canada wrapped up in a security blanket so thick it insulates you from what war and violence is...And good for you...not everyone is so lucky...but your commenting on a topic canadians for the most part know nothing about... Again want to point fingers, look no farther than the palestinian people...it is their choose to wage this war, it is their choose to follow their government down this road to destruction. Only they can change their path....until then Israel will do what it can to destroy the terrorist that have vowed Israel destruction....
  2. Your really reaching on this one, the law covers every topic and all crimes there is, are all crimes equal no they are not , but it does not take away from the fact they are crimes under the law, and punishable under the justice system...
  3. WOW, that was hard. Are you suggesting that there is no law ? I take it you don't live next to the border, if anyone could just enter another country whenever they feel like it why would there be a need for border agents...Why would they classify them as "illegal" immigrants. You are American right ? I mean every American knows about illegal entry has consequences with law enforcement... And that there are laws that need to be followed... https://www.alllaw.com/articles/nolo/us-immigration/crime-enter-illegally.html https://www.findlaw.com/legalblogs/criminal-defense/is-illegal-immigration-a-crime-improper-entry-v-unlawful-presence/
  4. I think it is written into your laws....i might be wrong, even we have those same laws, and we are more left than california...
  5. Nothing except give good paying jobs, provide taxable wages and profits, where do you think the feds get their money from....and i have to ask where did all the money come from for natural gas refineries...that BC is building pipelines for...maybe that should be one of BC projects for the energy corridor, building a new refinery.... And where does BC get their refined oil and gas from ...i thought it was piped in...from alberta...so they do stuff for BC...right...
  6. Cry me a river, you think all those germans that got bombed to hell deserved it, you think all those japanese people deserved the nukes dropped on them...This is a war between Hamas / palestinian people, and Israel....in war people die, from all kinds of things....War is never clean and tidy...it is death and destruction, it kills everything it touches.....right now your nothing more than an uneducated outsider chirping at what you think is uncivilized conflict.....That's exactly what war is, it has unbelievable sights, sounds, smells, tastes, you even can feel it....even after you leave the battlefield, it is pure evil.............That's how man solves it problems via violence....Sure we made a few rules of what you can do or can't do....but it is still evil..and people die by the boatloads... Want the war to stop convenience Hamas to surrender, and release Israelis they hold hostage... until then it is bombs away...kill or be killed...
  7. It is not that it can't be solved ,parliament does what the people pressure it to do no more no less, Canadians either don't want to solve government problems or don't understand them. can't be bothered with anything outside of their bubble...and parliament is not going to address any problems that does not bring in votes...either one is not going to work until Canadians make it work...
  8. Thats where the revenue is, selling stuff to other countries...Natural gas pipeline to Quebec is about both using natural gas in quebec/ Atlantic and selling it to Europe...Shit most of your (BC) refined oil and gas comes from Alberta via pipeline....wtf are going on about...Here in the east we would love a pipeline from the west, but thats not in the cards today is it...
  9. What i'm saying here is Palestinian went to the polls, during that time they had a free choice to make on which terrorist group they wanted running the country....Hamas won that election...the fact they are still in charge is a moot point they were chosen by the people of palestine, they ran on many different promises one was the total destruction of Israel....along with the other parties on the rite....nobody cares how much weight or legitimacy is afforded the election... If your saying the election was rigged, or illegitimate, the UN does not think so, nor do they care much....they formally have acknowledged them as the government in Gaza....your's or mine opinion doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things...Hamas is in charge for now, they represent all palestinians in all matters..for now...thats fact not an excuse
  10. Thats what happens when you vote in a terrorist group....they don't follow the democratic rules of being a nation...they have elections when they want to, or get destroyed by israel... Almost anywhere in the world that holds democratic elections 44 % of the vote is enough to take government, not sure what your point is here....if it is to show only 44 % of palestinians voted for Hamas, a known terrorist group what about the other terrorist groups that were on the rite , ya thats right pretty much all of them are terrorist groups or tied to terrorist groups...most if not all palestinian that voted , did pick a terrorist part or one that has direct ties to terrorists.... https://www.newsweek.com/not-only-hamas-eight-factions-war-israel-gaza-1841292 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elections_in_Palestine
  11. The goal was to reach 2.5 million barrels a day...or 55 bil a year more in national revenue....The energy corridor is still in the planning phases with all provinces contributing something...to that idea...So ya the idea is that the ROC will be doing something....You make it sound like BC does not benefit in any way from increasing our national revenue...what is the point of this entire project if one province is going to veto another provinces projects...no wonder we can't get anything done in this country, everyone has their own agenda...
  12. I would love to see the east coast get a pipeline...but the easiest project to complete at this time is another pipeline to tide water on the west coast...and all you have right now is excuses, to hold up this energy corridor....or pointing fingers at other provinces...according to the media it represents 50 bil a year profits for the nation.... To be honest this dream of a energy corridor is a mission impossible, Canadians don't want to cooperate to build....most of the premiers do support it, but for the citizens they are still asking what is in it for me.....it's to bad it is one liberal plan/ project that made sense, it would be a great first step in uniting the country for all Canadians...not just a few select provinces...and instead of spending tax dollars on needless liberal projects this is something for all Canadians...
  13. Are you saying they were not somehow elected ? or they just took power under the guise of an election... I did not know there was two or more classes of jews, as far as i know on their passports it says citizen of Israel,
  14. Yes you can look at trans mountain...Feds pass money around by the buckets....you see anyone still protesting...Most of the provinces new projects are already have large Native ownership , because that is what it takes now. ya, more fish stories....there are millions of reasons your salmon stocks are not recovering...pipelines may be a threat but hardly the cause of your fish decline...tackle the main causes then you can complain about salmon and pipelines...... cooperate pulled out of TMX because BC's protester's drove them out...feds bought everyone out now everyone is fat and happy.... energy corridor from coast to coast, thats the main objective of all the provinces...don't want to play ball don't... fold your tent up and go home....liberals are not forcing anyone to do anything...so the corridor stops at the BC border...thanks for coming out..
  15. I think both of you guys are missing the point here, the whole premise of creating a energy corridor, coast to coast is to increase the amount of resources we get to market...which means more money generated by Canada making us as a nation more prosperous, giving us more funding to fund other projects in Canada. pipelines and refineries, and all the construction creates good paying jobs... As for the east pipelines will be going to churchill first, and i'm sure a Natural gas pipeline will be driven through to Quebec in due time... BC has those good paying jobs at the refineries, docks, etc...plus lets remember a good portion of your processed fuels are coming in via pipelines...
  16. NO...take a close look on our defence file, even you alluded to defence being a important topic when we talk about the nation...and yet here we are our military is on the verge of becoming irrelevant, and it has taken 40 plus years for us to get to this place, and in those years how many times has our security been a national topic, or an election point....none...but you can bet your ass tax breaks were, eaten up like a fat kid with smarties... The majority of Canadians do not see our military as one of the top ten issues in the country.... If anything you posted was true why is our military in it current shape...because Canadians don't give a rats ass, i could list dozens of security issues that canadians could not care about...let alone the other federal departments that are broken....and need fixing... What you write sounds good on paper, but Canadians are not there right now.
  17. Look at you go, making up rules on who can own a pet...i know lots of well off people that mistreat their animals media is full of examples....but i have yet to hear a story about some homeless person mistreat their animal....i'm sure there out there but not on the scale as those that can afford to look after their pets...i mean just look at your local animal shelter, lots of animals that have been mistreated....I'm pretty sure homeless people care for their animals in the same way as you do.... seems to me you've judge people on first glances, and not by their stories....i've been told all that separates the middle class from being homeless is less than 3 months of paychecks.
  18. The problem is that Canadians are not on the same page, we are so divided there are too many voices talking at the same time all wanting different things....is Carney the guy that can unite all of Canada, he is trying, but he has a mountain to climb, and he is asking to many things, instead of being Prime ministerial and tell provinces here is the energy corridor plan, get on board or risk not getting anything for your provinces, BC, Quebec are the targets here... instead it has turn out to be everyone jumping up and down, but turning their noses up when they don't like the guy next to them... It's 2025 and we are just tackling inter provincial trade now....worth over 200 bil....so money was not a driving force here, protectionism was once again showing how divided we are when trading amongst ourselves..it would be funny if it was not other Canadians we are doing it to.....no wonder Trump picked us as an easy target.... As for being on the US radar, why would it when it is not even on Canadians radar....Many people here dis trump for causing all these problems...but he did not create them we did, thats right Canadians did... all he did was make us look at them forcing us to find a solution...and now that we know what the problems are we have a lip on with trump for forcing us to look at them....I hope trump forces Canada's head deeper into the toilet of sh!t we dumped in there until we as a nation wake the F up, and start acting like a nation that is united with one purpose....
  19. It would seem that thousands of ships make that journey every year, are you telling us it can not be done...you guys have GPS right....You guys got more excuses than carter has pills, from fish to whales, now to many islands in the way...i wonder how that part of the country even gets around....or maybe you guys cant drive a boat...NFLD's are great sailors they got no problem navigating ocean waters, they could teach you guys how to drive if you want... and now your saying you guys can't make a road...funny large amounts of money solves almost any problem...while the NFLD's are there they could teach you how to build roads as well...
  20. BC is already building pipelines across their own province...and don't sit there and tell me all those native lands that were crossed those people were not compensated for their troubles...this is all about you not liking smith....well lets not forget this federal project is about making an energy corridor across the nation...the whole nation not just up to the BC border...and while Carney did say he would not force anything on the provinces , eluding to quebec, it's hard to build anything if the provinces can't agree...just because they won't...the projects were suppose to align with the energy corridor... like BC pipeline getting BC Natural gas to the coast....hardly fair to do that then tell Alberta screw you we don't like you... And the last pipeline that got built, i suppose BC'er had nothing to do with stopping that, and i also suppose the feds did not invest tones of money to those that said no....which might explain it costing 30 plus billion... This entire liberal idea of making this corridor is a great idea, unfortunately it is but a pipe dream, this country is to divided to make it worth while....BC attitudes on pipelines is a prime example of this...this is not about BC vs Alberta, but rather getting Canada's resources to market, making it a energy superpower that was the dream...and it will always be a dream.
  21. I'm not shitting on BC, but responding to herbie the love bug...and the BC government in response to Alberta's inquiries...they are not interested in pipelines at this time, and yet they are building one themselves across the province...it makes no sense. I mean the entire idea here is to create a projects that will make "Canada"more prosperous...to create a energy corridor across the nation...how do you do that with out more pipelines...BC needs more pipelines or they would not be building one themselfs, so why not another bringing Alberta's oil and gas to market as well, is it just because it is Alberta....what about Sask could they build it? Just the asian market alone is a huge market for natural gas let alone other oil products why would we cut our noses off despite our faces... As for the East i take it you mean Quebec...well i think that is coming,Alberta wants pipelines going into churchill first, i personally think this is a waste of time , but it will open a northern port which we need....Quebec has already a taste for natural gas pipelines, and it seems that a majority of Quebecer's want it to...But they are in the same boat as BC, it may come down to driving oil pipelines through Quebec as a condition to get their natural Gas pipeline...right now the quickest project would be drive a line through BC. what BC gets is good paying jobs, and investments made to BC...
  22. I'm sure the world will take into account your needs and wants....today majority of europe is preparing for WAR with Russia and China...while here in Canada we continue to play with ourselves and talk about things that don't matter to anyone else... After the next war perhaps we will all be eating grass, and insects without complaining...
  23. No, the difference is Canadians will choose to do what is best for THEM, or group , or region....and not for the COUNTRY.... NO,doing what is best for the country as a whole is what should be priority, and that is not always what is best for the people or their interests....take defence for instance, or our entire security apparatus , now what is going to take precedence a major tax break for individuals or defending the country...i could see in a some cases where public opinion could be taken into account, but most cases government needs to take a whats best for the country approach...had that been done in the last 10 years we would not be in the pickle we are now...
  24. That's not what UN peacekeepers do....they observe and report, or sit and watch they do not prevent any attacks Oct 7 was a total c0ck up by Israelis defence department....Palestinian terrorist took advantage of the lack of security or they would still be picking up pieces of terrorist along the fence line... Here we go,reparations for what exactly why is it Canada's responsibility to protect palestinians, we had very little role to play in the palestinians condition...stop them with what exactly the Palestinians are better armed than we are, pull your head out of the sand....everyone of these palestinians terrorist groups need to be destroyed....if anything we should be sending our military in there to help Israel defend its country... Yes i do, they don't exist today, do they ? and yet a terrorist group has been in charge of gaza and west bank for more than 50 years....palestinians keep electing them over and over again, they don't want peace they want to destroy israel they live and breath that sh!t...this will stop when all the terrorists are destroyed. or Israel is destroyed... You have no idea what your talking about....what sh!t storm do you think that would cause in the middle east..and if that was the case US spec forces could end this over night....but then what would you have to complain about then...
